I’m just getting started out in NW just hit tier IV gear and wanted to be a bit more efficient in my gathering of rare items.
So I’ve mainly been running silk thread routes so I got all my gear with 4% harvesting luck sickle with 7% luck, ate a herb roasted corn on the cob, drank a medium proficiency booster and go on a run… I didn’t get 1 single item in 45 mins!
I looked up the db and it says the threshold for rare items is 1450 luck which I’m well above and there are no higher luck items on the roll. I just get nothing.
I removed all my luck gear and I instantly start getting rares again.
So why is this so unintuitive and poorly explained in game? Does anyone know how this system actually functions?
