Since Windchill can have Grit, this would be an Amazing Perk for IG aswell.
We can have it on Firestaffs for Meteor Shower and Incinerate, why not for Windchill

All they need to do, is make a Legendary IG with Thwarting Strike and Windchill perk.
We dont need it added to perk bucket as well.

But IG in fact is a mele weapon. To start with mage do fight in max 15m away from bruisers. And with IG half you skills do cast on mele range.

It doesn’t matter how you twist the logic, IG is most definitely a ranged weapon.
Its like calling great sword a ranged weapon because it has a big lunge.
Spear have same amount of range skill as IG

Wind chill is the only skill with grit…
And 300str on an Ig doesnt make any sense either.
Stop ruining varieties
I’m all for it, but personally I don’t think that most people that play IG would take it even if the had thwarting strikes.
Imagine being against buffing an under utilized skill lol. The only way you could even use the perk is with wind-chill and the wind-chill perk. Not like it’s gonna break PVP. Literally hating on build diversity. 
This would be cool but the new ice gauntlets that have trenchant perks and are actually in game don’t even work lol.
