Advanced chat filters

Would be nice if we can get a chat filter that allows us to block whatever phrases we put in. For example sometimes I get tired of “world tours” on recruitment channel, but don’t want to block all recruitment channel,… if there’s a way to allow us to just block certain phrases that would be very nice…

Currently I either block the whole channel or the mute the people who is spamming world tours but that’s not the best ideal way because too many people are muted… And I’m just using world tours as an example… Sometimes I love world tours but not all the time.

Maybe even a world activity search feature tool? People can just post their activity on there, instead of spamming in Recruitment…

Moving this over to Feedback since this is an interesting suggestion. I can definitely understand the need for this and will pass it over to the team!

hi, could we have audio profiles that we can easly switch, for example 1 for expeditions and 2 for normal game play. In order to properly hear voice communication in expedition, and im using NW voice comm, i have to lower several sound effects.

Thank you @Luxendra - can you also please take a look at some of the toxic players on forums. There’s a few that’s been harassing me - I’ve flagged them but they continue to do so.

Was just about to write the same suggestion when the site recommended looking at this post.
We need this, not just to hide certain tours or expeditions, but also just to filter out WTS, WTB, LFG, LFM etc. text in global chat for those of us who feel it is too crowed with text that belongs in other channels. I suggest the ability to hide the messages client side. With the ability to quickly disable filters through the chat UI and then see all messages retroactively as they would appear if no filter was used.

I also suggest adding in the same menu, highlighting of certain text.

^Hide^ messages containing ‘wts’ in channel ^global^
or
^Highlight^ messages containing ‘Amrine Tuning Orb’ in channel ^all^

^drop down^ ‘User input’

a better approach at this would be a world-based auto grouping feature. you sign up for “World tour” like you do opr in modes, and it will auto place you in group. we should probably talk about the creation of larger groups like raids for such things.
