Advanced performance improvements?

Hey there,
I often have to play New World on a laptop which is good for work but doesn’t have a proper GPU (Intel Integrated Graphics).
It runs at 10-25fps with every graphic option set to minimum, no V-SYNC, 720p resolution, and everything I could to make it run better.
Obviously my system is up to date, drivers up to date as well, nothing running in the background that could take resources away, graphic driver set to max performance, and all the other “classic” tricks have been put in place.
I have also set Windows to privilege performance (removed all fancy effects such as shadow under windows, etc…)
What I am really looking for would be some options in New World config file that could further lower the quality of the game and make it run with slightly more FPS.
Any idea?
Thank you so much.

I’m not seeing anything else in C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\AGS\New World\savedata usersettings.javsave not already in the game settings. Since you already have your settings at low the only other setting i can think of is In settings/visuals you should lower “player nameplate amount” to 10 or if you must even lower. I guess you could enable “Dynamic resolution scaling” but don’t think people like using that one. I know i don’t.

Thank you. All that is already done though, and yes indeed, I haven’t seen anything extra in the config file. I am more interested in options that either aren’t present by default in the config file, or hidden settings of what’s already there (e.g. totally deactivating shadows which would look absolutelly awful but would probably increase perfs).

Well we know in the config file that the values “1”=low, “2”=med and so on. You could try it with “0” and see what happens and let us know.

And yes i’d like some other settings to lower or disable some things. But doubt they’ll ever list any. Never hurts to ask though.
