Something to keep in mind - when someone says the economy is ruined from duping it means they literally do not play.
Not one single person who plays the game experiences negative influence from gold dupes.
The companies that did it? Banned or on their 5th merger.
The gold that was spent? Gear from then is cheap and not bis.

@Booskie and @Lightzy are serious trollers. Ignore them both. If you’re having issues with who to believe, which I don’t blame you due to people like them confusing the issue, make a level 1 on both a legacy “and” a fresh start server and you’ll see for yourself.

yah I’m more of a ggs kinda player when i lose, doesn’t bother me. if I get really rolled i ask for advice from the guy that just rolled me.
if the answer is git gud i laugh and move on, but in other games thats how i learned tips and tricks and made friends.

Anyways pretty easy to see who’s trolling on forums and who actually plays the game. Funny how people advocating for fresh servers BASH on legacy servers while we just here chilling and give advice to new players. Looks like they scared that people actually like the game and don’t wait for Thoses so awaited « fresh server » Copege

Incorrect but nice attempt at trolling. I’ve been playing since Day 1 and enjoy this game enough to where I’ve leveled 2 characters to 60 (deleted the first and restarted due to I messed up so bad).
Not sure where you’re going with your trolling. I help people that need it and scold trolls (like yourself) .
What the new server people dont mention is the mission critical bosses that need to be defeated… And the hordes of players contending to get the kill registered. Oh god the hordes. Upon respawn the enemy was down in half a second and you would see 2 players leave and another 15 enter the horde hoping to get the kill. Remember overseer zane in everfall. Remember the crowds. Remember the banter over voice chat. Remeber the horrible music players would play though their headsets to annoy everyone while they hid in the crowds. Thats what awaits the players in fresh start servers.

my advice is to join the PBE and get the feel of the game test weapons, see what you like, but don’t go HC. IF you like it, wait for the fresh start.

Like others have said, it could be a couple months out still for these fresh start servers. So it comes down to, do you want to wait to play or do you want to put in time on a character now and then re-start in a month or 2 on a fresh start server or play now and stay on that server? The current servers are packed now so you should still have a great time and I am sure many will help you.
Yep. With all the misinformation flying around this thread (and the straight up trolling and bashing on others in childish fashions) I’d honestly stand firmly by the comment that I’d make a character on a legacy server and getting a feel for how things are (Valhalla has the least toxic atmosphere imho) and then… When the fresh start servers drop (assuming transfer are disabled or what’s the point) try “that” for a bit and compare experiences.
