Anyways pretty easy to see who’s trolling on forums and who actually plays the game. Funny how people advocating for fresh servers BASH on legacy servers while we just here chilling and give advice to new players. Looks like they scared that people actually like the game and don’t wait for Thoses so awaited « fresh server » Copege

Here are you top topics , it’s easy to know you stopped play around January and just started coming back to forums in August. You can wait for fresh servers but giving FALSE information to new players won’t do you any good

Incorrect but nice attempt at trolling. I’ve been playing since Day 1 and enjoy this game enough to where I’ve leveled 2 characters to 60 (deleted the first and restarted due to I messed up so bad).
Not sure where you’re going with your trolling. I help people that need it and scold trolls (like yourself) .
What the new server people dont mention is the mission critical bosses that need to be defeated… And the hordes of players contending to get the kill registered. Oh god the hordes. Upon respawn the enemy was down in half a second and you would see 2 players leave and another 15 enter the horde hoping to get the kill. Remember overseer zane in everfall. Remember the crowds. Remember the banter over voice chat. Remeber the horrible music players would play though their headsets to annoy everyone while they hid in the crowds. Thats what awaits the players in fresh start servers.

my advice is to join the PBE and get the feel of the game test weapons, see what you like, but don’t go HC. IF you like it, wait for the fresh start.

Like others have said, it could be a couple months out still for these fresh start servers. So it comes down to, do you want to wait to play or do you want to put in time on a character now and then re-start in a month or 2 on a fresh start server or play now and stay on that server? The current servers are packed now so you should still have a great time and I am sure many will help you.

Yep. With all the misinformation flying around this thread (and the straight up trolling and bashing on others in childish fashions) I’d honestly stand firmly by the comment that I’d make a character on a legacy server and getting a feel for how things are (Valhalla has the least toxic atmosphere imho) and then… When the fresh start servers drop (assuming transfer are disabled or what’s the point) try “that” for a bit and compare experiences.

Yeah do whatever you want. People telling you there is no value in legacy servers or no value in a fresh start server are just not helpful. Either one has value honestly. The main issue is that to do while waiting for fresh start servers to happen. Likely they will merge with legacy after x months or at least become open for transfers. So do whatever you want. Sometimes it’s fun to play with similar leveled players. If it’s about feeling behind, that will happen on either side.
I always recommend finding a cool company and playing alongside them. Going to be toxicity no matter where you go and we see seeing a big influx of that now that the numbers are going back up.

Honestly… this makes sense mostly due to the comments are going to be weighted heavily on the person’s experience who’s commenting and what type of person (the person asking for the help) is. I mean… person asking could be RP centric, crafting centric, love pvp, hate pvp, be nice, be toxic, etc.
I’d say… your mileage may very on the different servers depending on what you’re looking for / expecting.
See this would be true if fresh start servers existed.
One of them does not exist and hasnt even been confirmed. Easiest choice in the world for someone who is enjoying the game now.
Atleast they arent lvl 60 with BiS lol
