I appreciate that we are getting a pop up warning now as opposed to a no-warning AFK kick, but please let me fish in peace. Sometimes I just want to stand in one place for a few hours to work though my bait stockpile and aim for the 10K fish achievement.
Some hotspots take a while to fish if you have bad aim and are the only one fishing.
Thanks for your work. I appreciate the lag/line tension fix, and look forward to a resolution on Malevolence so we can pick up those two fishing pieces from him.
I have never gotten such a warning while fishing, but can definitely relate to this in general.
My Gathering skills are all 200, except for the fishing skill, that is. Those dang “field and stream” photo moments (that come built in — for some reason) really kill my interest in digging out my fishing pole anymore. Give me a way in the GUI/game settings too turn that whole thing off, entirely & forever, and maybe my fishing pole will get dusted off, and my last gathering skill can get maxed out at last.
Recently, as in after the 4 times my server has been offling in the last 7 days, I have gotten kicked w/o warning, even while moving my mouse and navigating through the various parts of the ‘K’ key menus.
You seem to misunderstand, the reason it flags you as AFK and boots you is because you are obviously using the trading house, crafting, fishing, (being productive and enjoying yourself). How can they get everyone to quit and go away so in three months they can release an ‘expansion’ for $39.99 that will add some end game content and fix some of the game breaking bugs…
I am being somewhat sarcastic but it really feels like this game and the Dev’s are of the same mindset we saw in so many other MMO’s when they go too cocky and started resenting their player base…except this game is only a few months old.
Am I the only one who feels like the DEV’s and AGS resent and dislike their customers/gamers?
