AGS, are we serfs?

With the duplication episode, I just realized (I’m not a light) that company GMs could take the gold from manufacturing taxes, property taxes, sales taxes and buy whatever they wanted with that amount (a trophy, armor, weapon, 1000 rowhides etc.) for themselves or for their company members.

That this gold be used to build workshops, launch projects, make repairs, fine. I benefit from it, I pay taxes, that’s normal.

But that this gold, my gold, our gold, is used to maintain a small handful of people (what 3 profitable cities - 3 companies, 70 X 3 people on a server of 2 000 = roughly 10%), there I do not agree at all. Personally I hate the idea of supporting these people I didn’t choose.

What is your opinion on this?

It’s amazing how it is. You don’t like them, take what’s their‘s. My company owns ef and we do intern events with high gold prices

I don’t like being a serf as much as I don’t like being a pretentious parasite. I prefer to be a normal, honest person who pays taxes for good reasons and not to fatten a few.

I hope that I am not completely shattering your world with this…but that’s exactly how things work in real life.
