If AGS control gold prices, they can price out the gold sellers leading to less demand = less bots and less RMT in general. Games like WoW barely have RMT since they control the gold trade now.
If they make gold cheaper the prices for everything will inflate and the bots would just sell more gold cheaper, just like it happened in wow.

Same as WoW, but WoW isn’t P2W despite having this system. The game will be fine!

Bots will just sell it cheaper. If AGS tries to undercut them gold will become meaningless and game will be destroyed.

The economy will simply just readjust to the injection of gold, the economy over there is fairly balanced and isn’t one of their main complaint points unlike ours.
Not everyone can afford it and the prices of mats/items will adjust according to the demand of the New World tokens. Trust me, it won’t even affect most players at all.

You take money, you convert real money to game money, you use game money to get stuff in the game other players have to grind for.
That is pay2win.

New World tokens create more gold in economy, economy readjusts to match inflation, players can choose between buying gold or grinding.
Most people won’t be able to afford BiS outright so it’s still gated, and people who spent A LOT of money might get ahead a little but it’l benefit AGS which benefits the rest of us because they can give us more cosmetics and better updates.

Super advanced anti gold sellers AI logic: track the average value of items in the AH. If someone trades massively more gold than an item is worth, or gives away large sums of gold for free, track them, swat flies as needed. Problem solved.
