Let me explain to you my friend. What would happen is that when you inject coins into the economy… gold isn’t going to inflate, but it will deflate - which exactly what it means to lose value. Once coins starts to lose value everything in the game that nets you coins directly will affect everyone else that is not essentially RMTing the coins… because their gaming hours and the amount of coins they will get for an expedition for example would have much lower value. The game is already grind fest and people already say that’s it’s hard to make coins given the fact that durability loss on items even in the inventory is kind of a bullsht mechanic also… What would happen then if you simply lower the value of the coins they are obtaining?
If you are 17 years old and have not attended business school or any kind of economics related specialization classes or you are just too young to go to college and study these things - please do not come here to give opinions of trying to explain economics when you have idea what you are talking about.
The assumption that if you just give 50 million dollars to AGS from RM transactions that will lead to them taking a good care of the game is NONSENSE. If they can do it with 50 million, they can do it with 1 million as well. It’s not about money, it’s about vision, managements, goals and most important they need to have WILL TO MAKE THE GAME BETTER IN THEIR HEARTS. Just because you will throw them money for literally no EFFORT AT ALL… because that’s what WoW tokens do for Blizzard - it’s billions of dollars over the years WITH ZERO EFFORT.

Make AGS prove that they deserve their money. Let them EARN their money. RMT solution like this isn’t deserved, nor will follow up anything good after that. Have you seen a 16 years old Millionaire ? Do you know how they spend their money? On what? I guess you haven’t. If AGS wants money they need to earn it, the same way we earn OUR money.

A lot of people are put off by the “We” thing because it insinuates you are speaking for our opinions as well and, to be honest, the pay-for-gold model is not as popular as might think it is.
This is pretty much the the definition of p2w, even if it isn’t quite as egregious as older p2w models where you could only get the best stuff for real money (a model that is heavily outdated.) You could argue it is reasonable p2w (I wouldn’t, but you can,) but adding the ability to spend money for gold enables people to easily buy everything they want on the market that others have to work or grind for in one way or another (either through building the professions, accumulating and grinding gold and gear as well.as gathering.) So it would add an advantage where those with and willing to spend money get an advantage over those who can’t or don’t.
A lot of us simply would prefer the game to stay away from that. There is enough p2w in real life, I’d like to avoid that in my video games.

This is just false. You get tons of coin from quests and you could probably make 600 coin per hour farming hyssop and pigs on the starting beach at lvl 1…

Because all the sht posts are not issue as long as they are not on a daily basis. Some people just by seeing what kind of a joke a certain game community is becoming they would not think twice before leaving it for good. That’s just my opinion. That’s the reason i left League of Legends in the first place… I still like the game, not the state that currently is but the actual moba style suits me… but couldn’t handle the degradation of the entire league community in the past 4-5 years… It’s absurd at this point, I just called it a day and do not wanna put myself into league’s swamp of degradation.
