Logging on and having to sort through all the different gear in my storages and inventory is so time consuming I spend most of my time looking for certain pieces so I can do certain content. There’s no way to filter based on perks or attributes on stuff we already own. Please just allow me to just play the game and not hover over countless pieces of gear.
You can filter by saving certain equipment of certain characteristics in each city, that’s the best way.
Wouldn’t it be cooler if I could actually have a filter instead of a name I have to type in and it showed inventory from all storages in the filter so I don’t have to click throw 10 different tabs to find gear for different situations?

They need to merge it all, add proper search and sort functions and allow people to create categories within it for armour sets etc.
And talk about valuing time.
Just got kicked from two invasions because of ags terrible systems design that allow companies to kick until they have their company in.
And they wonder why people are quitting the game all the time.
I’m at the end of my tether now.
There are so many good things about this game but their band aid fixes are not fully implemented or thought through and the content is so inaccessible.
For real. I really hate logging on only to be sitting in storage for an hour looking for pieces for specific content. So dumb.

QOL and respecting people’s time is so important.
I guarantee that new players coming in quit very quickly when they see shit like this.
I would understand it if it made sense.
It made sense when you couldn’t transfer items freely between storage to encourage people to transport things around for open world pvp encounters, but that changed. They didn’t follow the design through all the way to the end.
It’s like the invasions and having 10 company members and rest random. Great idea, yes. But then they enable companies to kick people until they have their whole company in anyway. Again, didn’t follow the whole design through. It’s crazy.
I think there is a problem with bots too, if it were all the storage together, it would be much easier to get materials and for the same bot to store them in only 1 storage until it is full, than to distribute materials to all the storages.
Exactly and especially in a game like new world where anyone can level up any skill to max they limit the amount of trophies you can have active at one time or placed in your house. This would make sense if you could only level up one or two crafting skills to 200. Then there might be a argument to only have so many trophies in your house even then I don’t buy it. Just let people use whatever trophies they have in there house. This limit of 5 in each house is a dumb non-fun mechanic.
Na i don’t agree it’s the best way. It’s just a way players get around poor design. There either should be a better filter system for inventory or a better way to organize great OR just have multiple armor sets that are equipped all the time that switch automatically say if your refining wood and you have collected 2 pieces of woodcutter gear it will automatically change to that gear to give you the bonus. I shouldn’t have to constantly swap gear to play the game efficiently.
It’s coming. In the meantime organize your gear by territory storage and the problem is largely solved. I did this after shared storages were added and it makes life so much easier.
