For me, getting a clean economy was definitely part of my reasoning to join FSS, but the majority of my support for FSS stemmed from the ability to finally play in wars. On legacy it feels like you need to know someone personally that can vouch for you before you’ll even be considered. Even then, it feels like you’ll be prioritized below mercenaries.
On FSS I’ve managed to participate in several wars, which I never would’ve been able to on legacy servers. Especially for WW and EF wars

I think mostly people trolling. I think the desire for a “pure” experience and the irrationality behind is has kinda become a meme at this point. We all, well I think most of us, love our FSS frens and support people returning for whatever reason. The issue is when these decisions not to merge cause the community to fragment and honestly the increase in toxicity. Although toxicity has always been here haha. I can attest to that being on these forums for so long.

To think there wouldnt be some super sweaty people actively looking to ruin the fresh start servers by using dupes was incredibly naive.
Nobody was hurt that people wanted clean servers. Don’t we all? People were irritated that people were delusional enough to believe there would be clean servers.

I can’t speak for anyone else but myself and what I have heard others in discord say. For us we wanted a clean slate but had little to no expectation things would stay clean forever. We just hoped that the new functions behind the scenes would mean speedier and more effective responses. AGS will probably never tell us exactly which servers were the culprits with this latest lockdown.
This. They did a good job last time. It was discovered and cleaned up within 13 days or so.
It’s more about how unrealistically naive FSS crowd were thinking their servers would never experience dupes and exploits and threw stones at legacy players and servers not realizing their servers were made of glass too.

I don’t think most people thought that. Most of us realise that they would not stay clean forever just hope the response and results would be better than historically thanks to new back end functions.
That plus a years worth of this rubbish plus tax handouts still being on the server since regardless what some might say it did not get cleaned up.
There were a lot vocal people on this forum who acted and thought that way.
