AGS fixes musket exploit, but not the bugs since release

then they need to stop adding new content lmao. Thje game itself is good and has content, but the contnet is so garbage as well as teh bugs.

You said it @papayax999 Brimstones was a mistake with the amount of bugs and weapon animation balances… it’s been hard to watch… no more content until what we have works @Aenwyn

The thing is that brim stone content isnt content ONLY brimstone cna have. Its farming scarbsd, wich is just chests. Its a mission, wich can be placed anywhere, a small story quest increase, which can be added anywhere on this already gorgeous map. In theory we didnt need more territory when there is still issues with wars and content that is needed everyday. Not pvp content once every ~4 days depending on how often a company goes to war for…

In reality os many bugs since release that are on weapons right now…

I’d say we’ve been very consistently doing this. Our last patch was mainly focused around that. If there’s any you think aren’t being seen by us, definitely feel free to tag me specifically! :slight_smile:

Ice storm is still casting on top of us contantly… fireball is still hitting people in the face for 0 damage, IG has locked on me 3 times today from hammer stuns… still have built in slow when attacking and still doing a weird kick dance animation on light attack… i don’t see the archers and musketeers doing any weird dance animations when they attack. Still have built in slow when trying to move after attacking… Great that you see them… still though it’s been months and it’s getting old watching every other weapon get fast fixed while we FS and IG sit down here gettting left out. So yes consistent except for FS and IG… 6 months out still going on 7. @Aenwyn Add not being able to hardly move while getting hit by GS due to said shitty animation slows. Or do a double roll back and still get hit by a melee swing. Oh yea… if you use meteor shower while exhausted you become trapped in the animation with no way to cancel since we have to dodge out to stop it. That makes sense :roll_eyes: Being locked to ground is a great way to survive and be viable in fast action content.
Ready to see the fixes you said were coming fellow mage :frowning_face:

Also there is a bug when u die, you comeback in you cant zoom into your musket. thats from release. Game breaking to esepcially in wars.

To respond to each one individually:

  • Ice Storm on top of player: We are still working on this fix.
  • Fire Ball 0 damage: Unable to repro and so far all reports seem to indicate some other reason for the lack of damage. (Didn’t actually hit, etc). If you have any other information or video, we will dig into this further.
  • Ice Gauntlet “lock up”: I’m unsure what this is. Can you provide more information?
  • Animations: I’ll have us look into this.

If I’ve missed any, feel free to break them out so it’s a little easier for me to understand what you’re indicating.

IG locks in the cast animation when you get hit by hammer stuns sometimes… or bow stagger shots while trying to cast ice storm… when I get hit sometimes while moving the circle targeting thing around it locks and I stand with my IG in the air like i’m casting but no buttons react inc dodge or potions… when this occurs I walk slowly like i’m casting and walk to the enemy and let them kill me… have to die to fix… this isn’t new and was in all my/other mages posts.

I shot a fireball after dodging today as I use Opals and hit a player 4 feet in front of me in the chest… no damage… the explosion on the ground after impact around the enemy player did cause damage. So it hit and impacted and caused the ground aoe but no intital impact damage. Can’t figure this out… they are direct hits sometimes… BUT it only happens at close range and no specific weapon type it occurs against. This was a 1v1 situation in a doorway to a fort in OPR.

Is meteor shower suppose to be canceled if you push the button again? It does not… and if you cast after rolling (using opals) and become exhausted the animation can not be canceled until it’s done. When this occurs for me the animation for Meteor shower plays out longer than it does damage sometimes ie… im still waving my staff in the air but the aoe is over. Really wish this was insta cast like Ice storm and not a channel… the ground lock is awful.

I use an IG with grit on wind chill and would question if that works at all as the melee with grit seem to override mine… I get knocked down and stagger most times I use it and get hit.

I get 80-100 fps in OPR too and have gigablast internet and my provider has checked my connection MANY times for me to ensure i’m blazing fast :slight_smile:

Thank you for looking into the animations… again… they are awful and not consistent with the other ranged weapons. I play bow and musket too. They shoot/move much better.

How about the delayed health bars for the party member UI? Ie if your party member is knocked to 10% health, it will take around a full second for it to appear in the top left

Note how his actual health bar (middle) isn’t consistent with the bars in the top left. This has been a huge issue for healers since launch.

also need ot be able to differentiate between enemy and teammate. even a miniscule difference. Doenst ahve to be red and green, but some sort of floating aura or something…

Upload video of your issue instead. It’s so much easier for them to understand rather than a picture or a badly written wall of text.


The point of the picture is to show that the health bars are inconsistent. It’s a bit harder to tell in a video, but in the party frames they’re delayed by about a second.

There use to be a thing where grav well and other ability would nigate the fireball

funny enough, they told me to write it to describe the process. so both matter.

Generally you have to both fix bugs and bring new content, i.e. new territory, weapons and expos, since it’s important for different types of players respectively. You definitely need both to maintain an MMO.

And, as has been explained here before, it’s often different teams who do this: people who do micromanagement in code related to e.g. weapon abilities or perks are not the same who do artwork or invent storylines. These are simply different jobs with different skills needed for them and thus different people. You do need all types on board and they will all be working on something in their office hours :slight_smile:

How about bugs with Rapier Blood line? FnF staggers is not working 90% of the time
Flurry stagger is a joke?

All melee staggers are a joke. Cant cast, cant move, cant drink.
But when you hit someone with a huge fireball he is unimpressed. As if nothing happened.
The game is a complete shitshow in its current state.
