AGS has burned the last "good will" the community had remaining

He definitely speaks for me

its pretty clear when people are obsessed with the game and come here to complain. if you didnt care you wouldnt be here and its shows lol.

Oh please, you come in spouting completely unfounded and obviously wrong opinions, and now you’d like to name yourself a judge of what’s right? Quite ridiculous.

Keep up the ad hominem it really helps reenforce your delusion.

im not a judge of any kind.

If you think this is only 4 or 8 weeks, well.
Knowing a little about this time means 6-12 Month i’d guess.

Trolls always out in force after every patch. Maybe they should just stop releasing patches (or tell no one about it) …

I’m quite tired of people misinterpreting what others write. @sterny331 never said “we, the people”. He simply made an observation that “people are pissed”, which is an acceptable generalization since we don’t know exactly what percentage of the player population that includes, but a simple look at the forums will tell you it’s not a minority.

Wow, really? You’re even dumber than I thought. sadly I finished working for today, this is hilarious! bye

The amount of people in the forums are a minority.

Anyway it’s less about what he said and more about the tone for me.

Well… if you look at the information you are trying to put up as your belief… You are aware that of all the reviews, only 70% of those are positive at this point? Of the reviews in the last 30 days, only 57% of them are positive. I think it is safe to say the community is unhappy. For more reference… many of those positive reviews are players with around 50 hours of play. For instance one posted their review on October 4th. This positive reviewer had 35.5 hours of game play at that point. Since then, they have added 11.7 hours to the playtime… and we are in December. They also have played zero hours in the last two weeks. In this positive review you can read things such as, “The flaws can get cumbersome and annoying at times to the point I’ve logged off because I didn’t want to deal with inventory management or running the same road up the hill outside First Light again.” This sounds very much to me like an early game review, with hope, that obviously led to a player that quit. Not exactly a review I would put in the win column.

You posted the definition of ad hominem while at the same time insulting my intelligence. Hol-e cow.

why are you tagging me huh?

He was actually defending you I believe.

:joy::joy::joy: why don’t you go find some more memes to post. They do more for your argument than your words.

The amount of people who already quit are a majority. I look at the greater effect - it is said that people vote with their feet. Meaning, if they don’t like it, they won’t come back. And even though I know that every single MMO has a massive hype and peak at launch followed by ~30-50% drop-off as the hype fades, we’re looking at much more than 50%.

As for the tone - it’s the frustration, man. I get it, especially if some of us have been patiently giving the same feedback for quite some time and it seems there’s nobody listening. AGS never learned or took anything from the feedback, never even acknowledged it when so many have given them that exact same feedback in a very polite and factual manner.

I agree, the people on the forum, are the minority. The people that actually care enough about the game they are still playing to voice an opinion. Rather than the majority that have either quit, or simply fail to voice an opinion.

Cant tell what to think here. first you attack. then compliment and now post this. im starting to like this guy

I mean, what can I say. I look for facts and truth … I am a huge fan of NW, been supportive of the game since it was first announced. And I still hope and pray that it lives up to the hype and expectations and promises. I just am not seeing it yet - the game we play currently is not the game we were promised and excited about.

That has to be a joke.

Unless the game population is less than a hundred people, the forums will always be the minority.
