AGS, how do you intend on making solo PVE possible?

Maybe make the runs potentially faster with a group but the loot is the same. I much rather play alone and not have to spend the time to find a group. I don’t really see why it would be “unfair” if the loot for solo play was equal to group play as long as the difficulty/time requirement is relatively the same. I feel like the only difficulty of mutations currently are bad group mates. Otherwise, it’s just something you do mindlessly for about 30mins until it’s over.

Super easy answer. If the loot is identical, why group ever? You just killed the incentive.

Some people like to group. Some don’t. The people who like to group, especially if you can complete the content faster, will still group. Additionally, I’m guessing solo versions of the dungeons would be harder for most players, which would mean they wouldn’t be able to complete it solo or it would take significantly longer solo.

Moreover, if what you say is true and no one would group up anymore, then why have group dungeons at all? If people prefer to solo then wouldn’t it make sense to make content people want to do?

I think as long as the content is roughly equivalent in terms of difficulty and time, who cares if it’s solo content, group content, pve or PvP content. Let people play how they want.

Because with solo loot being good (and relatively easy to get when you can’t find a group) and group loot being far superior (for when you “can” find a group) you have incentives to do both.

I also never said no one would group anymore so that comment isn’t relevant.

Lucky you. I joined a group today and we had a troll pretending to tank. I assumed he was just new until we got to the dogs and he’d constantly try to taunt the second dog WHILE standing on top of the dps.
Then he would just scream at the healer.

The problem with the 25 limit is trolls are purposely throwing runs and screwing over the people who still need the shards.

Tanks are non existent on my server and many ask for gold.

Wouldn’t a 3rd weapon slot, entirely un-necessary in my opinion, simply be a Life Staff for most people then, as this is the most efficient way to solo content that you may struggle with? What content, that is meant to be solo-able, is hard enough to require a 3rd weapon slot? I haven’t found it yet in my nearly 4k hours of playtime.

It’s not just about being efficient and getting the job done, but actually enjoying it and having fun in the process.

What’s the hard PVE content though, that’s meant to be solo-able, but isn’t according to you?

I’d be interested to know this myself. I can solo pretty much everything I’ve ran across with the sole exception of mobs I’m not “supposed” to be able to solo (elites / bosses / etc) unless I’m way over their level of course.

Game is super fun with just 2 weapon slots. Adding a third would be like… having a third ______ on a girl. Completely useless.

I just wanna know what he considers to be so challenging that it is not solo-able, but it is meant to be solo-able. Sure, I solo kill level 65 portals in RW, but that gets boring after a while.

You can solo everything if you no-life hard enough xD lol! But I like it that way… pve in general is easy, so soloing content that is meant for a 5 man team is at least a decent challenge

I play solo damn near always but I have no issue with an MMO having group only content. Now that they’ve added some solo alternative choices and the group finder I don’t see the issue.

I don’t really see where a 3rd slot is gonna make a difference. If you can’t manage it with 2 you ain’t gonna do it with 3.

Yep. 3rd weapon slot is just a silly idea imho. Completely worthless.

The third weapon slot is not my idea, it is the original design of NW combat that we were given during beta that was then removed because of PvP crybabies.

Making new friends and finding synergy between eachothers builds in order to progress is literally what the game is about. In order to find all the roles to your group you need to socialize. It’s part of the game, hence mmo.
Adding a third weapon slot would be the fastest way to kill the identity of the different roles and also be one less reason to socialize.

All PvE content is soloable. There is even a solo choice instead of expeditions
