^have a look at your comments man! you litteraly throwing a tantrum becasue your “favourit toy” has been taken away from you and given to everyone fairly
be quiet man… I will sit back and laugh my arse off and show the same sympathy to you when they nerf the hell out of your builds… don’t think they will? think again
its not about “sympathy” when the balance patch “picks-on and bullies” your favorite build. Its about establishing a fair and balanced game state so that lots of builds re viable options. You only care about YOUR build… but there are so many other builds out there that need attention.
I spent 7.5 million kititng out a bis bruiser build… just that on one build not to mention the other 3 that are now nul in void… I have every damn right to not be happy about such ill considered changes and I am hardly a cry baby like other losers called me in this post… I grinded hard and was proud of achieving bis for nothing it would appear… I am not the exception here I know plenty of my friends share the same sentiments… all in the name of so called build diversity (already people are just going to more ranged builds)… nothing but a massive joke
think about healers always being nerfed its just to much to want to carry on
Although I’m not as negative on the changes since it doesn’t affect me personally, I can certainly emphasize with the situation you’re in.
I also agree with you that this will cause a lot of bruisers to leave. The final straw…. It’s not like this game has been smooth sailing anyway
That’s unfortunate mate, genuinely. I know how that feels because I spent that much on my build when heavy healers were a thing.
There’s a “personal” perspective that we all take, when we look at our own situation and say “gosh this isn’t fair, I earned my gear, I love my build, I’m a nice person who calls people losers on a forum, I don’t like this” and that’s where you seem to be coming from right now.
Once you step back and see that you r part of a huge community of players all around the world, you can more clearly see that “yes, heavy healers are a problem for the game, they shouldn’t exist. Yes , hit-scan 3-shot elemental glass cannons are a problem for the game, they shouldn’t exist Yes, giving the most offensive melee classes access to crown control immunity and not letting tanks or other classes have any immunity is a problem to the game.”
Be careful in the next game that you go to, as it is incredibly common for mmorpg games (and many other online games) to have a changing meta. If you work hard n spend money , just be careful not yo expect stale stagnant meta because then you will be disappointed like you r now ![]()
Losing you from the game will be sad, but from your absence will rise a new build, a new meta , and other builds will have their time in the spotlight. The game shall go on ![]()
P.S. by the way, you can just respec 100 points into constitution and still have grit, it’s not like your build is gone, it’s just that now there is a “real” trade off between damage vs survivability for your build. Bruisers now have to decide (like the rest of) which they want, rather than having everything.
^But, that’s just some information incase you decide to stay
you should at least go on the ptr. The changes realy aren’t that bad
you might even enjoy playing some different builds, who knows
if only it were that simple… removing grit from str nullifies a perk on a massive heap of str build weapons I have (thrawting strikes ofc) all with a dead perk on them unless I respec to 300 con which I should not have to do… the nerf to ga and hammer abilities is clearly a hard nerf and a strong move to shift the meta away from such build but at the expense of just outright killing it… nah its not ok and to say adapt is just pisspoor rhetoric that is said by no life losers
also a host of str based weapons run str as their primary attribute and you derive absolutely no benefit (base damage wise) on any of these weapons from con being a secondary attribute… this is plain and simply an unacceptable hard nerf to all bruiser builds and for the peeps who say just adapt there is no adapting to this, it is hard nerf to damage however you look at it
Fair enough, I understand. It’s hard to change. It’s much easier to just call people names and to live in the past ![]()
I wish you all the best for your future in whatever game you decide to play. Throne of liberty looks good but, please be mindful, that game will also have shifting meta and balance updates as well.
Over n out,
Brussel sprout.
is not calling someone a crybaby name calling? whatever bro you do you and I will do me
my post I will always have the last word
We’ll see about that ![]()

Don’t let him have the final word, Saint_Dale! Quickly, say something insanely abusive to get the post locked!
Haha , that could backfire. Besides, theirs enough toxic content on these forums already without me adding to it
thanks for letting me know though, that reply snuck past me! The cheeky devil
Actually they already have. I have a build that likely has more hours put into it than you have total. This particular build was nerfed so hard it is completely useless now. You don’t see me crying about it on forums. I’m still here playing the game.
As said before… Bye Felicia
Hey AGS, how about removing all stagger from non-abilities. Thanks.
The proposed STR/CON changes are actually creating a brand new class. It’s a CC class. And STR will now become a kind of DPS class. STR is no longer the bruiser. And I’m actually kind of OK with it. But as far as scoring and points go in wars/OPR/PVP of any kind. They need to start scoring for crowd control and damage mitigation. Tanking, stunning, point capture etc. It could be an incredibly lucrative and vital update. IF they actually reward people for playing support roles. Which they’ve never done or even feigned showing interest in doing.
It should also be a vital part of mutation scoring. Currently you couldn’t get invited to a mutation running any kind of CC build unless you’re a glass cannon. Which is counter intuitive.
But I could like the direction they are going if they actually follow through with rewarding support classes.
