AGS is killing this game

I don’t see the issues you’re referring to. It happened to put you into a match with a lot of ranged people because that’s who queued at that time. Bow feels really good, it’s actually useful. You just want them to nerf every weapon you don’t play and buff yours so you can stand out. Basic melee person complaining.

I mean I get where you are coming from. But with all the other buffs the bow just got it could use just a little damage reduction to bring it down a little. Keep all the firing changes and just a tiny nerf to damage and it would be brilliant.

I’m happy that it feels much better to use, but it’s a little OP at the moment. I however don’t trust AGS to give it the very slight nerf it needs, as they usually destroy things with nerfs, so hopefully they don’t destroy it again.

Yeah just nerf the damage so they can’t kill anyone over all the heals. Makes sense.

Slight nerf brother. It’s very strong at this point. Just needs like a damage nerf to where it would take 1 more shot to kill someone so I’m talking shaving like a few hundred off it’s damage.

If you don’t think that it’s hitting hard as hell right now then I’m not even going to do this with you. You do know it’s possible to make weapons balanced right? I know AGS hasn’t shown an ability to do this, but we can dream right

Bow damage is fine and consistent with a mid-range dps weapon.

The hitbox made it easy mode for the filthy casuals and the meta-chasers to exploit and abuse it.

They should tune down the hitbox and the melee homing, but in the backstage, desync is still a thing that can’t be patched with some makeup.

I just don’t feel the same way as you about it. With all the heals all over the place, it’s hard enough as it is to kill anyone so I personally feel like the bow is in a good place. Sometimes I can kill people if I lock on and keep attacking, but if they nerf the damage I wont be able to do that. What’s the point of bow being a dps weapon if you can’t out damage heals? Makes no sense to me. I could go on and on about each weapon and why I think it’s over powered. Just because you can’t shine anymore as a melee player and bow users can actually make a difference now, you’re complaining about it. Just get thrust damage absorption and wear heavier armor. I bet you’re running around in light armor with 100-150 con complaining about it. I just feel like a lot of these players complaining about the bow just don’t know how to build and wanna be a glass canon that murders people. You’re sword and shield/hatchet. You’re trying to leaping strike, shield bash, feral rush onto their back and lock them down till they’re dead. I bet you don’t think that’s OP.

not much can be done about this and is the same reason they also increased fireballs size tooo.

instead of fighting it htey really ot to add counters on abilities and stuff.

SNS shield should get a god damn directional phalex (depending on size) as an alternative weapon perk for defiant stance. make it that way if its on the weapon per the future update thing.

now there is a HUGE fucking roll for tanks in pvp.

If the made the hitbox a little smaller I would be fine with that but to nerf the damage with healers healing people the way they do would just be ridiculous. So I definitely agree with you on that. While they’re at it, maybe they can nerf grit a little bit too for melee.

Honestly though if a healer is pocketing someone that your trying to kill with a bow you’ll never kill them alone. Same goes for any other class. If a healer wants to give their full attention to keeping one person up they will keep them up (unless it’s just like 5 people at once). That’s the healers role.

I think way more people quit because of Great Axe supremacy for many months. I think way more people quit because of the Expertise system. I think way more people quit because the GS increasing to 625 patch. I think way more people quit because of the exploits and cheats not being punished or removed.

Musket isn’t 3 shoting anyone, but other musket players or really undergeared players. It does like 2.5k headshots auto attacks to well geared light players.

If you use charge, leap, and bloodlust you should be keeping up with a rapier. You actually should be a lot faster once you get into bloodlust range.

You still insist on not understanding my friend xD I can hunt very easily with this build.

Before the bow update, it was a very well-balanced class and people who played bow well could easily reach 20-30 kills.
Now even the players who play Bow badly can easily enter the first 5 places. because it’s extremely ridiculous Hitbox and ridiculous attack speed and damage disproportionate to those upgrades

I recommend watching this person’s videos. you can see how balanced bow is before update and after watching you will see that bow is not powerless. you will realize that the problem is that you can’t play bow :slight_smile:

It’s not balance issue. If I don’t play with good bruiser team I don’t play healer or vice versa. Most people join opr solo and they know they can’t do anything with bruiser if they don’t have a good healer behind them, so people tend to solo like musket,bow, s&s+hatchet 1 shot combo builds…

You also not playing bruiser btw.

Solution? They have make a system to arrange groups as everyone get 1 healer in his group.

yes dude i agree with that. GW was ridiculously strong, but remember that it’s just that ability that makes GreatAXE strong. Greataxe is nothing without GW. After the GW nerf, the next thing to do to balance GA was: They needed to increase homing range detection from 3.5 meters to 4.5 meters.
if they did the GA would be extremely balanced…

GA is the best melee weapon, don’t you think? If not, which weapon is better? S&S maybe?

The less used weapons could probably use buffs; not the GA.

GA is still one of the best melee or least most important initiator even with the nerfs to GW.

hammer is also secondary big important because of AOE stuns which is important in the main game modes of this game. works for both 1v1s 3v3s 5v5s 50v 50s if they clump that hard.

SNS’s only niche right now is single target assasinations. it does shit in clumps which is the majority of the fight

it has its place on the outskirts though.

Bow was balanced before the patch?? Oooookay. I would have loved to see you hit people with autos before the patch. It’s easy to hit people standing still, as it is with any other ranged weapon, or if they are running straight at you or away from you, but someone running sideways, or zig zagging, or dodge rolling/jumping… it’s really hard to hit shots even now as you have to predict where they will be and where the arrow will land. It’s not like you can just play bow now and you’re good. There’s plenty of melee guys I can’t take down as a bow user. Those are the guys not running light armor/100 con. Just learn how to build right and position yourself correctly and you shouldn’t have an issue with bow users. A lot of melee have the issue where they overextend thinking they’re unstoppable and it’s nice now that they can be checked and put in their place by another role.
