Just finished reporting yet another invulnerable player standing around on a point in OPR. It’s not the first or even second time I’ve seen this going on. Usually the player just says there game is bugged, and it’s not their fault, as they continue to stay in the match and stand on a point…
I have over 3000 hours in this game, and I love it. But if AGS doesn’t start taking things like this more seriously, I’m done playing this game, and I know I’m not alone. There are many who have long since left because of issues like this. Between this, aimbotting, animation cancel exploitation, and various other bugs and exploits it feels like the problems are nonstop.
I highly suggest AGS considers taking these things more seriously, and as a top priority. You work so hard to develop your intellectual property, put more effort into protecting it! Because things like this are destroying it.
I would consider having in game GM’s that can respond quickly and effectively. Also, a 3 day ban or 7 day ban isn’t going to cut it. You need to be perma banning accounts. Even then, the hardcore exploiters will just spin up new accounts, buy some gold and keep at it. Start hardware fingerprinting. Prevent access to the servers via known VPNs. Require additional authentication steps that will help prevent this never ending chain of exploiters from ruining your players experience and hurting your business. Please!
