Lots of companies on US-East are using squads of aimbotters in wars, especially on open maps. Very obvious by the accounts having meme names, 2-perk loadouts, and never being online outside of wars.
For some reason, cheaters receive an account ban, NOT a HWID ban, which means it’s very easy for them to make a throwaway account like the above to use for wars.
I know of at least two cheaters (one who admitted his main was banned, & one who literally streamed himself aimbotting) who continue to war on alt accounts after their first accounts were banned. Very disappointed AGS has not implemented the standard of a permanent HWID ban for cheaters.
While I don’t condone cheating due to I’m sure, if people “are” cheating, I’m probably one of the people getting destroyed in OPR by it buuuuut…
That said… I’m going to ask you to “prove it”. Making broad claims like the following just seems like people making up statistics to complain because people that are stellar players are blowing you away:
Proof?
Proof?
Proof?
Proof? Who are these people? Where is this supposed streamed video?
Just saying, man… It’s pretty easy to join an OPR, face some people that are REALLY good at ranged weapons and think they’re cheating instead of… I dunno… admitting they’re just better than you.
Please understand… this is NOT me bashing you. I am, honest to goodness, just asking for proof. If you’re going to make such a grandstanding claim, the burden of proof is on you to back it up.
Regardless… the above are just “my” thoughts on the matter. Unsure what others think of course.
Spoofers add another layer of difficulty to cheating (and cost them extra for something which might not even work). I doubt the family sharing example is actually common enough to affect anyone. Even if it was, I don’t see a problem with that. If you let someone cheat on your computer, you’re responsible for the consequences.
It’s an open secret that’s not hard to see for yourself, just like the number of players that engage in RMT. Especially if you’re in any big war discords, and find failed ban appeals of still-active players.
I don’t know why you’re asking me to prove that it’s easy to use multiple accounts to evade bans, or that dedicated war-logging accounts exist, because that’s simply common knowledge.
More to the point, it doesn’t matter whether or not you believe it, because it’s true. Which is why this post isn’t trying to convince you that some person is cheating, but rather asking for stiffer penalties for banned cheaters.
I’m asking for cheaters to get HWID bans, which is standard in other games. Just because it can be bypassed, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. After all, account bans can be bypassed too.
Also, why do you seem to be taking this personally?
You’re mad people are killing you sooooo… everyone (except you, of course) is clearly cheating?
Where did I say any of that? You’re projecting. I very clearly said that my opinion is cheaters caught by EAC should receive permanent HWID bans instead of the current account-level ban.
Very confused as to why you’re trying to use a weird “git gud” argument to defend already-banned players.
if you get caught using an aim bot. i think a perfectly reasonable way to deal with that is that you get a blindfold. and not just on your character, your screen is blacked out with only a small bit of screen visible (two little triangles about 1 inch long and 1/2 inch tall. to simulate you looking through the gap from your nose to your cheeks.) and you have to be stuck with this thing for a week and the next time you are caught, you get to wear that for 1 month and the next time after that you get it for an entire year.
