So AGS are ignoring us again.
They made dungeons incredibly too hard all of them even regular and players mentioned this on forums in many many piosts and AGS ignored us all and swept it under the rug and forgot about it.
this now means dungeons are completely useless.
Brimstone massive hype yet all brimstone content completed in a week so its just another area i dont go to as no reason too - same with most areas.
Turkey a massive mess up - Far too low HP - players get there to find it on last hit before its dead and thats less than 1 min of its location in chat. this will be swept under rug.
But the even bigger problem here is that AGS will brag how good it all was and how well they have done. yet they are not listening to us. they have a plan in mind but when its released its half done like always and never gets fixed - or is fix far far too late.
This leaves me on the edge - do i continue playing doing basically nothing each day just making a bit of coin and messing about or do i quit ? - but if i quit theres no other mmo to play so AGS have an advantage here.

You said Brimstone is done so quickly, but then also complain the dungeon is too hard. Over all, I think the majority of players have always said PVE is very easy, so not sure what you mean that regular dungeons are even too hard now.
With the Turkey event, what do you suggest. Make the health pool so big that if it’s early and not many players are on they have to fight it for an hour to get a measly drop? I understand if in peak time the turkey gets zerged and you may not get a hit in on time, but what’s the solution. Dynamic health system based on player pop? Sure, but I don’t think their engine is even set up to do something like that.
Even though I agree with the sentiment, you lost me when you said that even regular expedition are too hard. If regular expedition are too hard… maybe it’s not the game the issue here.
Yea I cant take anyone serious who says regular expeds are difficult
It is almost like the technology exists to have a scaling health bar based on the amount of players engaged… If only other games had implemented and tested this
That is a them problem. They still need to be held accountable, not given excuses. They chose to utilize this dog shit engine, they need to be hung on the cross for it
I can confidently say that no one that’s currently working on new world made the decision to use lumberyard and probably would swap to a better engine if they were allowed to. That was a mike frazzini decision.
Ok so brimstone I completed everything there in a week which includes farming enough mats to get 4 full sets of rune glass gems. - not enough content and no long lasting content.
Dungeons they have made too hard. For example they are let’s say taking one boss on regular that has 10k HP and giving it 10 million HP on regular then massively increasing that each mutation. On top of this they have added mobs and made their hits harder. This is all messy and completely unscalled. It’s not hard to give all the mobs on regular their HP then scaled it up per mutation and same with damage. It’s not hard at all but they have failed. Jumping in to Genesis or Lazarus now on regular feels like and m5 and the bosses feel like m10. Tempess far too long and rediculously hard same with barnicals but barnicals is only the end boss that’s stupidly hard. Then we got ennead which to be fair on regular to m5 it’s not been too bad but the end boss is rediculously hard. Even still the scaling is messed up when m1 feels like m5 and m5 feels no different from the rest.
Most servers lost around half their players to fresh start servers which is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen in an mmo.
To be honest there is great potential for this game but it’s falling apart and players are leaving slowly.
Now we got far too many crashes happening every 10 mins so the game is unplayable.
Instances are doable. Some are tougher, some are easier. You have a lot of ways to become stronger which makes dungeons easier. If you go with 500 gearscore to Ennead or Tempest, of course, you will have trouble.
Also if you don´t use dodge or play mechanics or don´t use proper gear or speccs. Some attack patterns seem to be a bit unfair, because they´re a bit difficult to see, but overall i like all of the dungeons and all are definitely doable.
Mutations just need also a min. gearscore requirement.
If you speedrun through everything, yeah it´s a week of “24/7” playing. Don´t know what´s wrong with content which gives atleast 20h+ playtime.
You have a new mainstory, a new dungeon (+mutation), several new elite zones+ bosses, new crafting things, new ability gem, new drops/loot, a huge amount of sidequests (the amount is really insane…), new collecting things (runes to open reward chests), exploring a big new zone and a cliffhanger for new content (=worldboss).
Just quit the game, if you feel unhappy to play it. I also took a 6 months (don´t know exactly) break before and came back before brimstone update… also i´ve restarted on a fresh server after a playtime of 1k h on my main. ^^
