Ags play your final trump card! Now is the time to rest!

Now, as the last survivors of the game, we are the base players of this game. Our last hope is the big December update. Unfortunately, things are not going well with Amazon Games, no one denies this anymore. Now it’s time to trump all the cards on the table. Let us see what’s on the table as a range update, data mining information (new map, dungeons, dungeon hard mode, arena, new weapons…) Now, whether it is ready or not, we continue the game by relying on them and we lose many of our friends every day. Using Ptr, you need to bring whatever you have into the game with a 15-day accelerated test. You seriously have no time to waste. Now show us all your cards, and get through this most difficult phase with us. If you take these steps to us, we will give you much more as players who love the game. But if you keep quiet, you’re about to lose your last warriors. Please don’t take these as a threat, these are the wishes of the last players who want the game to continue and are still resisting…

Not trolling or looking to start a fight here, but no. First off, I really wish people would stop acting like their opinion is the wish of all players. Speaking as one of the “we” that you are referring to, “I” disagree with all of this. The focus for AGS shouldn’t, in my opinion, be on what they have planned, what they hope to release in the future, or what might be coming down the pipe. The focus should be on fixing what’s already here in game now. Data mined information leading to speculation and rumours have caused more harm than good. Sure, we’ve probably all seen the data mined maps and talk of new zones that were planned long ago. But that just proves that at some point it was considered, not that it will ever actually come to pass.

We do need more communication, but not about what might be coming, rather about what is being addressed. And while I’m not suggesting that a dev or programmer stop what they’re doing every hour on the hour to post “No news yet, but still working on it”, a dedicated PR and media person could easily keep posting that. Just like waiting on hold for an hour and hearing every three minutes how valued you are as a customer might piss some people off, it’s better than silence. But the communications need to be transparent and based in actual fact. At this point, half of what people are asking to have “fixed” we can’t even confirm is AGS equally sees them as broken, because we have yet to hear AGS come out and say what the vision and roadmap is. A number of threads have asked for better weapon balancing. But without any official reply, we can’t be certain that weapon balance was ever even part of the AGS vision. Clear information, not about what they hope for in the future or want to add later, but about what they intended the game to be now, would be a great help.

And as for accelerated testing, hell no! Testing needs to move slower and be more thorough. Sure, the void gauntlet had been talked about since beta. It was pretty clear it was coming. But rolling it out partially tested caused a ripple effect in lag, graphics, etc., that caused a ton of damage to some players. Accelerated testing and rushed content will simply continue this trend.

So while I won’t speak for “we the players” or state “our” desires, I will say what I as a player would like.

  • Stop trying to release new content until you get the current content working properly.
  • Give a detailed and specific vision of what you as AGS even define as properly. For all we know, a lot of things that people think are broken might be working exactly as you planned, but we can’t know that if you won’t tell us.
  • Give us details on what is being worked on to address current in game issues. I’m not asking for samples of the code or an exact date of release, but some indication of what’s being addressed.
  • And then, post a roadmap starting with your vision. If you know there are things people are asking for that you will never consider putting in game, say so. Don’t string people along with the false hope that you may give them what they want. If there are conditions tied to things, be clear on that as well.

I don’t know if the player base agrees or disagrees with me, and I’m only speaking of my own wishes, but I do believe all of those points would make things better for most.

Cheers

My friend, I am talking about the will of my own environment and me. If you don’t like it, you can compose your own post and submit your own requests. That’s what this forum is for. Friend shared the statistics, you may be patient, but every person has a point of patience. Year 2021 to be 2022. People are not as patient with a game that has no content, they do not have patience. Hundreds of thousands of people have already left because they think like you. You can take it slow, but the statistics show that people don’t have the patience to wait. Comment with as many unnecessary words as you want. You wrote most of them just to write, just to stand up. empty and meaningless. If this game continues like this, it will not be able to continue after a while. It’s obvious, people don’t have the patience for nonsense like let’s wait.

I think speeding up testing is bad advice, especially given patch issues to date. You could also calm down and be patient. That’s also an option.

Speak for yourself.

now is prime time. because they thought that we should wait idly like you. this will decrease to 30 thousand and 10 thousand after 50 thousand soon. Waiting idly doesn’t pay off, and no one wants to keep investing for 10,000 players. This game needs statistics right now. Amazon is an official company and they are smart enough not to invest. If you’re not too old to think about it, that’s different.

Folks still on travel, and others aren’t logging in until the TP/furniture is back to normal. I have no doubt they’re losing players, especially the impatient ones… but I also think these screenshots never give the full picture. We’ve seen how a bad patch could bring numbers down… it’s entirely possible one great patch could have a huge positive effect as well.

I guess you have no idea what you’re playing. Most of the people started to leave the game not because of mistakes but because they couldn’t find anything to do. People can tolerate mistakes if the foundation is good. First you have to give a choice so that people know what to be patient for.

Congratulations!
(_ :poop:_)

I know this all too well. Some folks in my company stopped logging [as often] because of the elite buffs - it’s just too hard to find a group (same with OPR). I get it. I’m just not willing to take a snapshot of concurrent players and derive any conclusions from it. Game is still VERY young, and the team has had to deal with a lot they didn’t expect (transfers, number & complexity of exploits, repercussions for turning on/off TPs, etc.). I think we need to give them more time to get their feet underneath them. (not popular I know).

You know that out of all of the servers… those populations are primarily and majority on an extreme few amounts of servers where the rest of the players can’t get to or wants to due to high queue times. You’re lucky if there are 3 active servers per area/country.

Unfortunately, you’re still chiming the same song, “most” have left because of why you think they have left, when in fact you don’t even know that they’ve left, let alone why. You posted numbers showing average number of logged in players is down. So what? No new game has the same player base 60 days after launch that it does on launch week. I used to log every day, I don’t any more. So I contributed to that decrease in numbers. But I haven’t quit. None of the players that I joined with have quit, but most log less often now. And of the ones who are considering leaving for good, it is because AGS is patching too fast without proper testing and causing more bugs than they fix. I don’t know why the people you’ve spoken to have slowed down or stopped playing, but I will comfortably say you haven’t spoken to every player who has stopped playing as often, so you can’t say why they have. But you still insist on speaking as if you are representing the majority of players, even when several replies here disagree with you.

The only empty an meaningless comments are your continued claims of speaking for anyone other than yourself and trying to prove that you know facts that you don’t actually have.

No one I know has left because they think like me. Everyone I know who is playing less now are doing so because they are waiting for the bugs to get fixed. And your numbers actually don’t support your claim of why, just that there are les people logging in.

Ironically, that’s exactly what I and many players I know are doing. Waiting for the issues to get resolved. So yes, people do have the patience. Not all, of course, but unlike you I’m not making blanket statements pretending to be the champion of all players. But hey, keep telling yourself you have all the data and answers and speak for the majority. The fact that most replies here are disagreeing with you is actual evidence that you don’t.

Cheers

I think it was stated somewhere that AGS recognised they’ve put out content too fast and sacrificed game quality. In the future, they said they will release new stuf slower so they can have more time to iron things out.
Don’t know if this is true, but I have a feeling the December major update will be delayed.
