DPS should receive the same penalties as healers and tanks based on the armor class that they are in. It makes absolutely no sense that a heavy dps can be really tanky AND put out a lot of damage. Please consider actually balancing your game kthxbye
they acctually negate more, as the dmg bonus give light as advantage. the only positive for light, is the mobility. which got killed with the 1.5 sec slow moving, after being hit ( except for dex )
