AGS, please, dont be dumb like you were when nerfing light roll and rapier to get at ranged, instead of nerfing Ranged, a lot of builds depend on hatchet to work

  1. Just because hatchet/GS broke the game, it is not a reason to nerf hatchet…

  2. Hatchet/GA, Hatchet/Spear, Hatchet/S&S, are all decent builds, balanced ones, with pros and cons.

  3. Just look at Wars and OPR, hatchet is only a problem while paired with GS, and ranged still strong (even if you tried to nerf it by nerfing rapier and light roll, wich was stupid).

  4. This time, maybe think a bit, understand that no weapon works in a vacum, all weapons have sinergies, and just because a combo breaks the game, doesnt mean its both weapons that need nerf.

  5. People will always cry about weapons when they die to it, there will always be those that cry about hatchet beeing OP and shit, while it was never a big problem before GS. MMOs cant be balanced to apeeal to the vocal minority in foruns and reddit (i know it sounds ironic), but you need to analize the whole thing.

  6. If you people at AGS nerf hatchet, spear will become a secundary weapon to bows only, it has no other sinergy, and it gets fcked by the GRIT based melee builds (and yes, even with the kick), because the kick applies to duels and arenas only, any mid-large scale PvP, you wont be able to combo the GRIT user.

Defy death has been broken for some time…

So broken that it was never meta or not widely used until everything else was nerfed.

It’s used more due the great buffs it has now, it was needed and riposte isn’t working how it should be now. Defy death is broken, you get immunities and second life. People just speed boost away and live on and wait for cool down on defy death and never get killed.

or until the passive exploit, then everyone was abusing the hell of it which is casting a very negative light on it.

I’ll repeat what I’ve posted before, the defy death has brought some of the most memorable moments for my team in PVE. The ability is iconic and truly memorable.

I’ll be very sad to see it get nerfed, it’s tough not to complain about something that is specifically painful to you. I get that. I never ran the GS because I felt it was too OP.

There were right with light dodge and rapier nerf.
And they are right with hatchet defy def nerf if its what they want to do.

Even healers, mages and musket use hatchet now as secondary. 90% of PPL use hatchet, hatchet is problem and required to be nerf to the ground. Rapier and light armor nerf was well deserved. I think you are just rapier main who switched to hatchet after nerf, and you see, that if hatchet will be nerfed, there is no other escape weapon.

No, people cry, because 90% of people use hatchet, they just run at 0 hp, regen to full hp, and when you manage to get them again at 0 h, they have cooldown of Death Defy back, and again run at 0hp. People dont want hatchet damage to be nerfed, people want escaping with it to be nerfed. Have you saw in any Viking movies, a berserker who run away? Berserker fight to an end, not just run like rabbit and hide.

Shield/Healers/Pots/Cover/Heavy armour counters musket.

They are using it cause of the bug. If they still using it in your server, and 90% of them, your server must be PvE or really casual. That number is so pulled out of your ass, only GS players are using hatchet or people abusing the bug.

Yeah I use nullify oblivion and it packs hatchet user right up.
