This is a terrible choice, RTA servers are fresh start and AGS said they would be treated as FRESH START servers after the event was over. AGS also said that fresh start would never be merged with legacy. This is ridiculous.

Most of the returning event players allready have a Legacy character.
We came back for a fresh start and carried the event. First we were left by the streamers that deadtalked our servers as soon as the event ended and now this.
None of the players would have played on those servers if they knew this before.
I can just delete my character now. All was for nothing.
This is unaccaptable!

It makes zero sense to force players who just created their chars to be merged into a server that has been around for so long. Am i missing something here? I leveled to 60 on both characters.
It was FAR easier on the regular fresh start server. The market is thriving and you can actually buy materials you need. Buy orders get filled, opr’s pop, mutations have players. Basically all events have people doing them.
On Death the market was always barren. Even if you got the materials yourself you have to teleport around from town to town to try and find a high enough level station. Finding mutations was basically impossible, and opr really only poppe…

This is ridiculous. Why are all of us being sent back to a Legacy servers?! Do you seriously think Dracul/Death/Titan/Overlord servers is in line with any of the legacy server?

Every event participant wanted to be merged into the fresh server. It’s simply crazy to merge a 1-month-old server with a 13-month server because of… “Fresh Servers economy”? Because this is exactly the reason quoted by @Aenwyn . No idea why nobody cares about the economies of the RtA server.
The economy of our server (Death) simply will not exist anymore and those servers were most clean out of all servers - thanks to the initial invite-only system there was near-zero chance to see bots

This is the entire point! During the entire event, fresh servers have always been behind in terms of economic growth, online, etc
And now merging our servers into legacy where people have been farming for 13 months? What is the point of all of this?

I could not agree with you more. I wound up coming east to play on the RTA with old friends from alpha days and to make new friends/grow a community together starting at ground zero. I was loving it. No way I have any interest in landing on an established server where we’ll all be second class citizens, ludicrously far behind the curve from every perspective (except maybe tradeskills because of the “200” push) and dropped somewhere none of us asked to be.
So I don’t feel like I have any choice but to abandon Hiply Jr and go pick back up on my west coast FS character (and my 2 west coast 60s) and hope like hell the precedent being set here doesn’t carry over to ‘regular’ FS servers.

It’s gonna be hard to get feedback from people not from Death servers at this moment in time because both most of the players from those servers are either asleep or don’t speak English, but still, it would be great to get some info about the economy state on Dracul/Titan/Overlord
Tho there’s simply no real foundation for the situation to be different

i’ve played Ultima online, Tibia, Silkroad, Lineage 2, Wyd, Mu and maybe another MMORPG, and this is one of the worst decision i saw.
The company doing the exact opposite of what they had promised. within a finished product.
I’ve spent a lot of money to support this game (3 skin packages and other skins/house furniture), and this is how amazon treat us =)

Completely agree this is insane. I’m from USW Titan and know how you guys feel cause were also going through it. we all just gotta stay strong and support each other in hopes that this decision is changed.

And it’s the first game that I come to a conclusion that the devs are clowns !

And by the way…I didn’t play fresh start…I had a feeling it would be a sh1tsh0w and total waste of time…guess I was right. But still…that decision is SO bad for people that did choose to play FSS.

There is no real economy on Titan. Can’t keep a T5 up for long because of low population. There is NO way Titan would ruin any other FS server economy! That is just insane to say.
