Win trading would be standing at the fort watching the other faction capping it then taking turns with them. Win trading would be going into 3v3 and just trading wins. Kill trading is when you kill someone over and over then they kill you. All with intent to cheese a system in a way not intended.
This is common sense stuff that I shouldnt have to define for you. Maybe this is your first MMO though
If you want the generic definition you can easily google it.
If you dont think fort swapping is win trading then you are just dense af or you used the exploit yourself. AGS already defined it as win trading so you have zero argument. Its their game. They get to define what is and isnt. You lose.
And with that I am done talking to you because as I just pointed out, it was defined by AGS in their game.
We are talking about it in terms of the CoC and potential punishment for players that did it before the rates were decreased. Your argument is that fort swapping was win-trading before because it’s win-trading now.
I’ve already said I didn’t “exploit” fort swapping. I probably got between ~2-4K from forts in total so far. None of the times I’ve captured forts involved large groups of people from opposing factions. Also you don’t even have to be in the fort control cap to get credit for capping the fort. This works for both the PvP mission and the PvP rewards. So whoever takes pictures of other players participating in this behavior is technically also participating.
Wow, you edited that you pretty quick. Seems like you’re desperate for a win. You already admitted that you’re just mad you didn’t get to do it yourself. Now you want punishment for people who you perceive got ahead of you unfairly. Which is not exactly true as you can still get the same rate of PvP XP and a higher rate of azoth salt doing PvP faction missions. Just those require effort.
Do you have any relevant input to my actual question? What are the metrics that makes capturing forts cheating?
If this is only thing that you consider cheating, then it is ok to capture with 24 people, and let other 24 people to cap it and take turns?
If that is the only thing u consider to be cheating then I can go out of the fort, harvest for 30mins and go back to fort to recap it again and do it 10 times a day?
I never said I was mad I didnt get to do it myself? Are you really this stupid? I won because AGS called it win trading. Its that simple. I could have partaken in it if I chose to but I steer clear of known exploits because Id rather play the game idiot.
No, its not that simple. They only called it win-trading after it was patched to further deter players from doing it.
Again, if you’re having trouble comprehending. Players who did this before they patched it didn’t know AGS would classify it as win-trading as it didn’t definitions widely accepted. Then AGS called it win-trading. Now you’re saying its win-trading because AGS called it win-trading therefore the players were directly and knowingly violating the CoC.
How can you say that? I’m still asking you how it fits the normal definition of win-trading and you can’t. How are the players suppose to know that? It’s called a grey area. You’re just looking at everything black and white.
Because anyone that is not a moron would know sitting in a fort with the opposite faction and just swapping the fort back and forth for fast and easy xp would know its win trading. Are you one of those morons that dont?
Since when did game mechanics (capturing forts) become an exploit. If someone captures a fort after you capture it, is that exploiting? Like, none of this makes any sense. Just remove the mechanic if its “exploiting” lol
I have a vague memory that you are one of those going on in every thread like this and that I have already silenced you. Whoops, don’t know how that got “lifted”, but reapplying.
Not really worth having discussion when the guy doesn’t even read what I have written and when the arguments end just calling others stupid etc.
Just for the record, once again. I have not mentioned term “win trading” in any of my posts. Nor am I in confusion if 25 greens and 25 purples trading constantly fort is cheating. That is a simple and clear case. MY QUESTION is when does the fort capturing become cheating or something wrong? It is very obvious that you are not cheating if you never go to fort. These are the easy ones to define, the black and white. But what about all the other shades in between. Once again: Which cases are wrong and which right. Where does the line go?
It would be great if Amazon Game Studios would give a more clear definition than they have, but I guess they changed the capture time to 10 or 15mins and all is fixed and forgotten by now.
Truest ive seen in all honesty the only people left playing this game have already sunk too much in if your not doing the META with everything in this game your just Wasting Your Time period.
Two opposing factions. All in the same area. Not fighting. Trading spawns for rewards. Its the same as kill trading. This is common sense to anyone thats not a moron.
Its no surprise that you’re unable to define win-trading. All you can do is either say that you’re right because AGS said so or that I’m wrong because I’m wrong and you’re right.
