its only gambling if there is real money involved, make it small amounts and for only in game gold which you cant buy legaly
I had suggested for these spaces to be used for musical performances such as events where NPCs ask us to play music and earn XP/Gold based on performance. This would make musicians travel around cities performing at musical events. Too bad DEVs aren’t good at creating something fun for professions and are experts at making grinding more boring.
This post literally illustrates the entire New World as a game. It’s a beautiful world with a lot of potential, but just lacks on all ends. There’s so much world to fill with various things, events, and fun stuff. Let’s hope this will be one that happens.

i want to add, it would be nice that group finder should be in each tavern/inn of each town, that would bring more ppl and more fun in those places, and if you think , it’s the perfect place where u can find partners for ur adventures

Let me sit on the chairs! Not only in the taverns, everywhere in the city. The church f.e. has so much space and seats but we can’t sit!

I was just there thinking the same thing. Someone took time to create these environments that are left unused. It could very well be made into an instance of social games .

With collectible cards scattered around the world. You could grind your cardset

I would love it if there were mini games and card games (and/or other activities as well ) . But if the devs are dead set against games in the inn the idea of having collectables could at the least mean you complete the set and then you can start some epic quest line.

Eons past I suggested territory owners should be able to invest in things like this. Think it would be a neat resource sink.

In gathering tree they added music.
They could add also Gambling and you can do games inside bars.
With every gambling level you archieve better cards, chances etc etc

Nice idea… bars and pubs should be always full in an adventure game like this.
Would also be nice to see real time war stats inside the town hall. Like a map hanging up, See the progress of points taken and top players, time left.
Make defending a territory or taking a territory in wars more eventful than just a text pop up.
Even more so for defending invasions. We all see the broken stations at a loss but never know when an invasion is won.
