You fail to remember these servers all got xfer tokens. That is on the player, You guys really need to grow up. This is not on AGS they gave the players how many free xfer tokens? Like, get real. That was on you and your guild, not AGS. Learn to do some research and go to another server. If a player gets left behind sucks they didn’t use the free xfer or just make a new toon. You can get 60 in 3 days lol.

Like I agree that its an issue and I like Asmongold as well. But we shouldnt bend over because a streamer said so no matter how good or popular he is.
So, basically its our fault that all players decided to leave server… Yeah, sure.
There was no research we could done. These players waited more then 2 months to transfer and join to our company. So they did and everyone leaving server after that is our fault. Yeah, sound reasonable.

many new char are on dead server without any tokens because they were created after the merge.
many transferred with the free tokens to a med pop server 600players, then the server died in a week or two due to big companies leaving.

This is 100% on AGS. I don’t care how many bullshit excuses you make for them. Truth of the matter is, If the Server system wasn’t so shit, we wouldn’t NEED a transfer token, or a server merge. What? These players “Deserve” To be in a dead server? They should quit the game, so you can gloat to them about giving you their stuff? Look at the player count. We had over 900k players. over 900k. We’re down to 20-30k in just 6 months.
And what? It’s suddenly the players fault? Do you honestly expect them to start over from scratch? Sure, I can level a character to 60 within 3 days, but why? Why should I, or anyone else abandon a character they’ve invested time into? How the hell they supposed to know a server gonna die? The only research that any reasonable people can do is making hindsights. Do you expect them to predict the future? Come on man.
Want to know the irony of it all? If AGS rework the server system? Make it so you can choose any server within a server set or something like that? I 100% know for a fact that a good chunk of players will come back.
The bugs and glitches, and bad balancing isn’t what killing this game. It’s the server situation they have. They can make the best patches in history, but until they fix the server pop issue, all of that won’t matter.

Asmongold is a guy that behind that image of expert in mmo and video games the real thing he does is being a sensationalist and a drama queen where after talk 5 minutes about a game then he destroys it and starts to talk why is dead and why it fails.

Nah people need to start holding accountability for their own actions AGS gave several free xfer tokes SEVERAL. They had plenty of time to do some research on forums and reddit to find a server. People need to stop fully blaming ags and own up.

to be fair, some people xferred during the first batches and ended up on a dead server again because then that medium pop server xferred somewhere else. I’ve heard of several cases of people that this happened to.

Yes. I waited 3 weeks before i used mine and “thought” that other people would have used there transfer tokens already.
Research? I tracked multiple servers the course of the three weeks and extensive tracking the last week. I compared peak at different times of the day. Compared least population at ~4AM to high population to get a rough idea of the number of bots. I used my other charcter slot to visit the servers.
I used my transfer token and then over the course of the next 1-2 weeks, EVERY mod/maj company leaves the server. The only reason I havent scaled back my playing was because another company of highly active players did the same thing I did.
Don’t get why people listen to the guy.
I usually listen to Demone Kim or 5 Head Survival gaming.
5 head is a little optimistic at times.

People that made characters after tokens were given out did not get tokens.
