So ppl wont be able to buy gold and get BIS. Just 2nd or 3rd BIS. It will limit ppl buying gold couse they won’t have decent reason to do so.

You are right, however they would still obtain income from the UmbralShars carry and the sale of consumables such as potions and food among others

And if gold were eliminated as a means of exchange, trade would evolve to barter and illegal trade to the sale of objects for real money.

Simple change mate:

  • BIS - not craftable, just from schematics you get doing pvp/pve - bind to player
  • previos season BIS and others - craftable

So it would allow ppl to jump in fast into endgame, but they will still have to play season to get their BIS to catch up. But it wont be like new/returning players are months behind old players. Just 1-3 months behind with build in mechanic that allows to catch up by playing game u want. And it also does solve issue with ppl buying gold to get BIS.


Just look at Fortnite Save the World a co-op PVE survival weapons can be crafted with blueprints that all players own however these weapons lose durability and when these break they cannot be repaired and you have to go re-grind the materials that roughly give you It takes about 30 minutes to 1 to collect the materials per weapon and the weapon has a durability of approximately doing missions or fighting in storms. Those weapons last 3 hours depending on the perks. In other words, in FORTNITE there is no RNG, what there is is Programmed obsolescence.
