It is getting ridiculous that this has never been addressed.
The 5-man pre-made stack has insane advantage over the 20 randoms thrown onto a team with no knowledge of anything their team is using. You know they are preparing long before the match. They know each others weapons, stats, builds, and they always have what they need (which is healers) and they use discord.
Force groups to queue up against only othergroups.
I do not care if your group queue finder take 50 times as long. That should be a sign that you are abusing the system in place.
Regardless of what team you are on the stacks are RUINING the game mode. If you are getting stomped you have zero chance of getting 3k points. If you are on the winning side it is nearly as impossible. The game mode is a joke as it stands.
And no, before the <5% of people who only queue in groups, we do not want to just find a group to play with so stop suggesting it. That is not what OPR was about. It was 20 randoms working together to beat 20 other randoms. Anyone who queues as a group or just tells people “get good” or “just find a group” sucks at the game and cannot win without the massive advantage queuing as a group provides. Sorry you need that crutch to be competitive.

It has been addressed many times to make queue for groups and solo.
Actually it has been addressed for both OPR and Arena.
I’d be ok with all situations!
But here might be issues with groups filling up teams, as not all join as groups of 5. Then some teams might remain 17-19 while other teams might be 20.
Also for Arena groups of 2 players will be forced to either join solo or find 1 more guy.
But let’s see if u are getting any official answer.
Not necessarily just separate competitive from casual PvPers, not sure why this hasn’t been done already, most of the toxicity and overall frustration comes from that.
Pre-made groups should be reserved for the competitive mode, I mean it’s an oversimplification because it can entail other problems, but it’s better than what is happening now.
1000-400 sounds quit nice actually. We usually see 1000-100 (150 sometimes)
Even when it throws me in on the pre-made teams side I tell them to not push the third base. They always do. They want the game over as fast as possible. I know not all of them are hitting 3k so it makes no sense. They actively hurt their own rewards to ensure others cannot get good rewards.
People like playing with their friends, this solution isn’t reasonable unless cross server is a thing because there isn’t 6 five stacks queueing at the same time for this to work.
It’s perfectly reasonable. We’ve had a year of groups queuing into solos. It’s a nightmare of 1000-25 games that drive players away. Try a solo only queue and see how it is. The games will be way more balanced and not end sub-5 minutes.
Oh I’m reading it, and it proves my point. If there was a queue where groups had to fight other groups it would never fire.
It’s almost like 97-99% of all players are solo queue and tired of getting rolled by pre-mades.
Queue up solo, sometimes your friend will be on your team. Sometimes you kill them. If you don’t like being on opposing teams, you can quit and re-queue, which is what solo que players have had to do since launch.
This makes absolutely no sense, go make friends and get better. You have no solutions for group players that have actual friends other than “queue up solo”.
Did someone even mentionned thet fact that if a premade group has too much competitivity player in enemy team, they can just “leave the group” inside OPR, then geting ejected from the OPR, then Q again instant without penality ?
I see this so many times… when the premade rush mid, and get completly destoyed, 5 player leave the OPR, to Queue another one, and the game finish in 2min, 20 vs 15, with the wonderfull score 1000 to 50.
