There are a few for sure. They usually appear late at night. It becomes a glaring difference when they start an opr without it and switch it on out of frustration. Thats not the only cheat though. Lagging in particular players vicinity is another as well as the ol invincibility. Heck there was even one guy that would hitbyou 3 times with one GA heavy.
These arent every where, but they show up. My hardcore friend started always running a recorder to catch these changes and anomalies. I just sigh and go about my day.
You can literally purchase aim bot easily from several sites just in few clicks. I could post here a few but it violates AGS’s code of conduct.
There are MANY people using aimbots, just look the site, look their sale discord and you will see the large number. There were few bans already but Im hoping for way more.
The funniest thing is that these users be like “I play FPS games for 80 years bro that’s why I never miss.” We need stronger anti-cheat system.
Funner killing someone, with a musket, during a burnout, just to watch their body hit the ground, and still going forward to finish the burnout distance.
Yes, but you can’t use bow by simply following the target your shots have to be lead and the distance that is done from is variable. Depending on your opponents trajectory and distance.
I know they exist for musket as I said this doesn’t have a projectile so doesn’t need to be lead.
Musket players def are out there aim botting not all but def sus players out there. But bow? I would miss a lot more if i aimed directly at someone. Most of my missed shots is from leading a shot in their running direction then they decide to go the opposite direction or stop running in that direction and my arrow flies past. You want to get hit less by bows stop running in one direction.
If I’m aiming at a musket player on the far rocks from Sol, i have to literally aim it half of a player size above their head to do a heavy then pen.
They actually are somewhat active in addressing this even though they don’t talk about this (likely they just dislike admitting the issue) and based on how often they block them not much of a priority. It used to be much more rampant even if the total number of aimbot users was low (and well known).
You don’t have to googlefu much to find the forums of the working aimbots and know when AGS has blocked the current versions since the users complain/report the issue.
AGS is also banning these users even if it does take a long time for them to do so (again just monitor the aimbot forums).
