Well, what can I say but to completely agree with you. I am now certain that AGS have no clue about how to make this game better as it becomes worse for every patch.
All they needed to do is to create hard mode version of all expeditions with tougher/more mobs and slightly higher drop rates. Instead they introduced this weird umbral shard upgrade system, average GS scaling and insane drop rates on which makes legendary items common.
I mean that is an oxymoron in itself. L E G E N D A R Y cannot be common.
Idk what you mean but in WoW if I wanted fairy wings ring I went to X dungeon and killed them repeatedly until I got it. It was on their DROP TABLE and eventually it would drop.
If I wanted BAMF axe from a raid Iâd do the raid and kill the boss and it might drop from their LOOT TABLE.
The only longevity this game has is you can get like 16 different versions of the same staff drop from a loot table.

I think theyâre trying to normalize gear a bit while they address various bugs and imbalances in the game. All of this to prepare for ranked PVP arenas probably.

Yeah no shit man, it has been like that in near all mmos because new players have it easier that way. It is not a bad mechanic because you are still ahead of the pack. Just use the named items and craft the rest, whatâs the problem? Most of those items are not even near bis (like weaponmasters chosen, useless 3rd perk)
if you want to make easier for new players . Just remove expertise system you will see the difference with that expertise system noone will start this game its for sure they will try to make elite runs with 500 GS ? they will insta die in myrkgard

So you just âplay the gameâ. It feels a lot like a FPS game, where all youâre doing is the actual gameplay. With no side gimmicks that serve to make you feel like you need to sign in every day or risk falling behind.

I donât understand the mindset at all so you did 60 runs and didnât get the 1 specific item you where looking for, would you have been happy with doing a 100 more runs and still not getting it, Itâs pretty wild to me that some are complaining about drops where to common with how shitty most of the gear is.
To me the game losing concurrent playerâs because every other grind then Umbra shards is tied into RNG gotta be lucky and get that 0.01% chance, compared to Umbra shard mutation run you get rewarded, only problem is the weekly timeout.
Oh and about Infamy thatâs from engineering, still got tools to make while weaponsmithing might have gotten hit hard.
