I did all the recommended steps to trying to fix the random crashes / bluescreens / complete shut downs while playing New World. Nothing worked.
Decided to update my bios
Now my game runs like butter.
Hope this works for other people having similar issues.

Please dont title FIXED, tons of us have done that weeks ago with no stop to the crashing, glad it worked for you.
