I have no issue with the DMG of GA, it’s the spam aoe and cc in this game. A game is won with GA/WH, IG/FS and healers. If you have a few muskets and SNS/BB even better. But at least these are single targeted.
You’ve seen a healing GA zerg right? The only way to beat that is with another one.
Of course, it makes “sense” in the way this game is designed.
If anyone expects that a group of mages (for example) can beat a group of melee bruisers when pushing or capturing a point they are not thinking clearly…
I mean, if theres a mode like team deathmatch and this is played in a open field, tell me, what can melees do against all ranged people… not much unless they are a very good group with the best healers etc… same with mages at range… put a good range group with healers and mages against a group of melees and healers, if your fight comes to melee range, melee win, but if mages can keep the distance, mages win…
A good kill squad is comrised of healers, GA/WH, IG/VG.
However, you can counter it by selectively removing the support from the GA/WH as I mentioned earlier.
Please, get gud. AoE/CC are part of every game. AGS simply has bungled most of the counters for it. So the counter is yes, using it to an extent but also taking away their support system.

I agree that melee should always dominate point capture, it’s the healing part which kills it. You can’t stop it apart from another healing GA zerg.
I’m hoping the healing nerf helps a bit. To be fair, if the other team is coordinated, e.g has the melee and healing group, assassin group and ranged they should be hard to beat.
All depends in how you or your group play it tbh… but of course is easier to capture a point being a group of melee than assassins for example… But the assassins or mages can win the fight if they play well and be very careful about getting closer to melees…
If using AoE and CC is getting good it’s hardly a true skill based PvP game is it.
Few people run IG/VG on my server, most run IG/FS.
You seem to assume I’m in a company, or do you expect a single person to use tactics against that? I play for fun, not the need to win every game. If it’s a close game, it’s more fun than the generic thing you support.
You sound like a wannabe chad, this is a game people play for fun. Not to prove/validate themselves. Go outside and play or get your parents to give you a hug.
I don’t care as much about winning as enjoying playing. You sound like someone who enjoys thrashing another team in a sport rather than close fought game. If you need to win that much in this game, then I don’t know what to say.
I don’t play this game to make friends, I have actual friends in real life. Maybe stomping pugs is what you enjoy. Again can’t help you there. Sure some GAs are good, same as any class.

Exactly. Slows are getting a buff inadvertently and the IG is getting a buff… It’s already used in SnS, GA builds for the insane utility it has, now it’ll be even stronger with no tuning in sight…
