I think you replied to the wrong person, I was replying to OP.
That being said, if you haven’t checked out Runescape OSRS, it’s fantastic! New World is fun too. I don’t see why you think people can’t like multiple things lol.

so you start doing years old content again to drop cosmetics.
Hey that would be something to do while waiting for a week before I can attempt lazarus again. I like a lot of the crafting sets, they look pretty cool. I’d probably make all of them to use the skins.
But Amazon didn’t deign us to be allowed to use them as cosmetics. Nope, cash shop only. Those are the only cosmetic you can use.
Fashioncrafting is damn near up there with mythic raiding as far as MMOs go for endgame content. That shit is nearly as important as actual progression for a lot of people.
Not allowed, so say amazon.
You didn’t clear every map zone even on just a Horde character in 1-2 months. You would literally have to be on it 24/7. Some of the quests are Daily and take up to six weeks.
and why wouldn’t you do the Alliance side? unlike New World, factions actually meant something. There are hundreds of quests you can only do as an Alliance character.
Hey could be @Tarv sorry. Just to follow up, I never said anything about people not being able to like two things though. I said in so many words “it looks like crap graphically” so I’m not interested.
I like and own many games, but tend to spend time doing one thing (currently to the chagrin of my Eve friends). I’ve been 60 for about 2 weeks and don’t find the content lacking at all. I find the population lacking which makes the content inaccessable. There’s certainly some fine tuning and balancing that needs to continue to happen, but it has been my experience that this game is a far stretch superior to any game you can rattle off.
All other MMOs didnt have content relative to them now, yes.
BUT ALL OTHER MMOs RELEASED WITH MORE CONTENT THAN NEW WORLD
Thats proven. Its fact. You cannot deny this.
EvE is such a great title!
I remember, logging in once and then looking over at steam and noticing a few hundred hours. One of the few MMO’s where you truly “feel” as you’re just a cog living in the Universe.
I wish more titles looked at EvE’s PvP/Market successes and tried to emulate them, but in a fantasy setting.
I’ve played Eve on and off (mostly on) for over a decade. It’s certainly grown! I find this game to be very similar just in a hack and slash setting and at it’s infancy stage. NW is where it’s at for me.
Looking forward to the Brimstone sands expansion, I’ve seen the videos. It appears to be 2x-3x the size of a regular zone. Likely lots of empty desert but I still find that immersive.
Paired with the Greco-Roman theme and the dunes, I think that is where I will be living out of for a long time.
Edit:
Also, finally full Roman gear perhaps? I hope by then we will also have a transmog system!
I do not like Alliance and i never played as one.
In truth i was beetween old and new work and i had great amount of free time.but i do not remember how much i did play apart from the 2 months thing. Probably i was log most of the time.
You mean the reputation thing? i may not finished the ursa reputation completely but i did as much as needed for something that i do not remember.
We have totally different opinions on what content is
have a good day, it starts to be very unproductive discussion.
ARe we too chatty for you @Ales_Hruby ? This is content bro, you don’t get to say what’s productive or not for me! If you feel you’ve gotten all you need out of this thread, you can have a good day somewhere else and let us have our good day here mkay?
Ok
It was a reaction to a certain poster I was having a discussion with.
I get it, my bad. You’re view is mine anyway. Have a good day!
The way they layer the responses in these threads is confusing
I’m a casual player in most games, so lack of content rarely becomes an issue for me. In the latest expansion on WoW, people were incessantly complaining about a content drought, and I was sitting here thinking I still have too much to do. I also can’t say I ran out of content in New World either. For me, the problem lies in feeling like I’m not progressing as an individual character. I’ve never has as much problems as I do in New World trying to progress. I keep feeling like I’m beating my head against the wall, 2 steps forward 3 steps back. At level 50, I had to quest in level 35-45 zones because I couldn’t do quests in zones my level because the respawn rate was too fast. I couldn’t make money because the Trading Post was shut down. It became extremely frustrating to get anything done, especially as the population kept dwindling. So, the content is there, I just didn’t get to do any of it because of bad game design.
Do you play solo or in a group?I though they decrease the respawn rate, but i remember it was crazy when i did my lvl up.
The trading post shut down was a major problem for sure.
I’m not suggesting that you should have done every quest in the game. I merely pointing out that in terms of content. That’s quest’s, Dungeons, Raids, and PVP modes, WoW had far more than New World along with most mmo’s at launch.
I like New World and find plenty for me to enjoy. New World is by far the most interesting and enjoyable mmo in my opinion at this time. But to not recognise that it is light on content is daft. It is the same as not acknowledging the many bugs. Burying our heads in the sand, because there are things you like does not help New World. AGS need to be called out on these things. Otherwise it will become common, and it’s a lowering of the industry standard.
I mean, just imagine New World if it did have the amount of content that wow had at launch. Is that not something people would want?
Mostly solo. Definitely solo near the end. But, that shouldn’t really matter for your average run of the mill level appropriate quests. If I was complaining about not being able to do elite quests or kill elite mobs on my own, then I would be dumb. But, just regular quests should not have a spawn rate like it does.
ayo hollup bro is it fun? I might try that hoe out. I was looking for a functioning mmo to hold me over until lost ark global

After crucible part 2 I had to raise my standards for games even higher and do even further extensive research on whether a game is worth playing
