Describe the issue you are experiencing:
Yesterday a consul and I put 6k in our company treasury, taking it from 0 to 6k. Today the treasury is back at 0. I’m unwilling to ask our company members to put more money in while we don’t know what happened to this money.
Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: It prevents us using the company treasury
(if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: No. The money is gone and I don’t want people throwing good money after bad
What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced:
Put money in treasury. Wait.
Consuls, despite the game saying they are limited by the withdrawl limit, are in fact not. They can just punch in whatever number they feel like. I don’t know if officers are similarly bugged. Either way, most likely someone yoinked your gold.
Our money is missing as well Infernal Aukumea an we had not received the back dues this is now 70k out now we also had pans to run influence today an cannot . please respond also will send feedback report this is game breaking AGS .
Ok some detective work has uncovered WHO took the money from our treasury. It has not uncovered HOW. I’ll explain…
We lost our company governor and all his consuls. They were friends and transferred to another server over the last 24 hours or so. A couple of the outgoing consuls took the money (about 20k) that was in the treasury. The treasury was 0 as I took over governorship. At that point I appointed 3 new consuls and I believe at that point there were only my 3 appointed consuls. I was under the impression that all the leavers had left the company. I did check the members list and I’m sure that there were only 3 consuls.
So after all this happened - a few hours later - I put 1k and a consul put 5k into the treasury. Then today that consul logged in and found the treasury back at 0. He, of course, assumed it was me that had taken it all because we believed only the governor could withdraw all the money. We know better now. But I was on the hook at first.
So I’ve been talking to the outgoing Governor on Discord and it seems he was aware that his consuls had been stealing the company money as they left. He spoke with them and one of them admits that they took “about 5k” today, then left the company and transferred to the other server.
So culprit found, by his own admission, “VulgarRedCoat” is the thief. But I’m confused because I’m pretty sure he wasn’t on the list of consuls yesterday. So either I missed that fact - which is possible. Or he was able to take the money after leaving the company but before transferring.
I think the most likely explanation is that I missed it. But even so… I was really sure they’d all gone already.

And for god’s sake Amazon… put in a bloody audit trail. Not just to deal with theft but also so we can see who is being a GOOD citizen and donating! Until that feature is added you can expect a lot of support calls about missing money.
Yes! A company items bank would be fantastic. I have a bunch of tradeskill foods I’d love to share around. People could just take them and use them instead of them cluttering up my bags.
