Allowing armour skin and weapon skin to be dyed and transmorg feature

Currently, armour skin and weapon skin cant be dyed.
New world should change this to allow skins to be dyed including weapon skins. The basic limitation currently will affect the sales of skins negatively. Players dont want to be wearing armour sets in different colours.

weapon dye:
Weapons should be dyeable, the player would be able to dye multiple parts from the hilt to blade. The weapon skins would also be dyeable.

New PVE quest types for New World:

These are quest type that can be added into new world
to add diversity and more adventure.

  • free faction members and prisoners that have been taken captive by the other faction

player has to free npc from cages within time limit:
if they are not freed within the time limit they will die, quest failed.
And
If the npc enemy units are disrupted they will shoot the captives: which would be quest fail

Npc can be placed in cages, player would need a key to unlock their cages or hack their cages by minigame to free them.

  • Win a race against the npc faction member ( can be horse racing in new world )

player races on different race track and completes laps
must come 1st place

  • reaching checkpoints while npc factions are not aggroed

this is not a battle quest, player cannot battle as this would be quest fail

  • Catch the thief
    player has to catch a speedy thief that has been stealing from aternum townhalls
  • Accuracy gun / bow slinger quest
    Player has to head shoot different objects within time limit, missing a shot is fail
    in new world there can be different shooting ranges. Players can use musket or bow to complete this quest.
    Example within 10 seconds get 5 head shots on the straw puppet
    within 15 seconds get 8 head shots on the straw puppet ( elite )

  • These accuracy quest is different as the flying beast would be moving in the air

  • The flying beasts would multiple to make it harder and the player would need to shoot them down or quest fail

  • Quest can have time limit i.e complete in 10 seconds

  • for players to acquire these unique keys would add adventure and exploration, as every key would have different requirements to acquire them.

  • these locked chest can also be placed underwater in shipwrecks

New world ebonscale reach has a zone based on ancient china,
another zone connected to ebonscale reach should be transformed
into the ancient Chinese theme, in comparison brimstone sands which is based on Egypt and ancient Rome is much larger on the map compared to the ancient Chinese theme of ebonscale reach.

  • ebsonscale reach can include ancient china and medieval japan
    as both have similar architecture, with unique additions

combined to make a stone treasure map:

  • these ancient stone rocks have engraved of mysterious letters and diagrams

  • they spawn randomly all over new world
    ( players can trade them and sell them on the market )

  • a player would need to discover and collect 100 and 200 of these
    and connect them together to form a map
    ( the larger the map, the more stone pieces are needed )

  • each stone pieces have a number digit, players would need to collect and discover each unique stone piece and combine them like a jigsaw puzzle to complete the stone map

  • For example player can discover stone piece number 1 and discover stone piece number 1 again ( as the player has the same stone pieces, the map cant be completed )
    the player would need stone piece number 2 and number 3 to progress in their map completion.

  • this map would then need to be cleansed from the corrosion as the 3000 years have made them corroded. ( by item or crafting )

  • The broken stone pieces can be made into a complete map or used and traded into the townhall for territory standings

  • In new world the stone pieces can have 5 to 10 percent spawn chance in the open world and during quests
    ( when a player fast travels to a new zone, there will be 5 to 10 percent chance for a stonepiece to spawn in that zone )

Floor puzzles:
The floor puzzles can have 2 variations:

  • one member of the party has to complete the puzzle, when they die the next party member would complete it. all party members cannot step onto the puzzle.

  • the entire party has to complete the puzzle, this would require teamwork as the party member that makes a mistake that party member could die and kill the entire party.

The party would play the floor puzzle to proceed to the next phase of the dungeon.
each party member would step onto the puzzle to complete it. When a party member dies, from the puzzle traps, other party members would try to complete the puzzle.
The puzzle would have tiles with traps , stepping onto the wrong tile would kill the player, while the correct one would open a pathway to the exit.

  • the animation are varied as new world can design or choose to use the different animations

new quest type for new world: stealth mission examples:

  • stealth mission defeat: defeat 20 enemy combatants without having stealth compromised, if the player’s stealth is compromised they lose the mission. The enemy units can vary in design and abilities.
    players can use the map designs to increase their stealth
  • i.e shooting light sources to make shadows.
  • Luring enemy units with sound effects of bells,
  • Putting enemy units to sleep or stunning them for 6 seconds
  • players would need to remove the body of incapacitated enemy units as their stealth could be compromised by other enemy units. ( How stealth mission gameplay is designed )
  • Enemy units can vary in health, certain enemy units would have too high health and defense, the player would not be able to neutralize them. ( increase difficulty of mission types )
  • Adding trophies and medals, achievements ( make these mission types fun ) can include being awarded if the player didnt lose the mission, zero retries etc.
  • some stealth missions can vary by making it that player’s cannot destroy enemy units only neutralize them for short duration. (The player would have new load outs for these mission types)
  • stealth mission hack: hack and download data from the machine devices, without triggering lazers,land mines ( other unique devices that would make these mission types fun) should the player fail to hack / if their stealth is compromised they would lose the mission. enemy units can stop the hacking. The enemy units in the control room can deploy different machinery to destroy the player i.e robot hounds, robot salamander etc.
    example the robot salamander can let out a roar that compromises the player’s stealth for 5 seconds, while the robot hound can increase the hack duration from 3 minute to 5 minute.
    ( different machine monsters have different effects) To stop the monster effects the player would need to defeat them.
