I could say the same about the people wanting to complain about the game. Some people just aren’t going to like the game. I on the other hand, I am enjoying it a lot.

This goes far beyond the “some bugs” of other games. This is a complete coding disaster.

Normal things you do in an MMORPG? running around for 30 minutes because I dont have any azoth because portals and outpost rush is broken is not what I normally do in a MMORPG.
Gather? when I can’t even sell any of it because the whole player base is broke since one of the main way of getting gold is broken (outpost rush). Yeh fun. So much fun.

Yeah, I’m not defending the fact that there is bugs. What I’m saying is that I am enjoying it, even with the bugs present. I read the patch notes that come out, they are addressing the bugs. Games are complicated, you can’t just snap your fingers and fix issues that require time. The most common response that I see to this type of stuff is “Amazon is a massive company, they should be able to release a game that isn’t buggy, they have the money”. Well Amazon Games is relatively small compared to the parent company. And they are fixing the bugs on each patch. People just have no patience.
I agree that this game totally was not ready for release. While I am having fun playing, they haven’t fixed much in this 1 month without making it worse or just reverting the change. It seems like they have no clue what they are doing and they can’t provide any communication because they have no idea. Major game functions do not work. There is not a fully functional economy because they have nerfed or removed any method to make new gold. I am still having fun because I haven’t capped stuff to do, but when I get there I am not sure how much fun I will continue to have.

OKAY did you know that partaking in Out-Post RUSH can grant you up to 150+ Azoth ? What ? its still disabled after 1 month ??
NEVERMIND, did you know that Completing town quests gives you around 100+ Azoth ?, What? You are level 60 and already have completed all these quests?
THEN, did you know that closing portals Gives you 25+ Azoth ? What ? They disabled portals again ? AND you already farmed for 3 hours so you want to do something else instead of grinding portals ??

It really isn’t that difficult to make money in the game if you pay attention to the market.
I am still having fun because I haven’t capped stuff to do, but when I get there I am not sure how much fun I will continue to have.
That’s pretty much the point I’m at, I’ve got all the best gear, I’ve farmed soooo much and the only thing left to do is run 30 minutes to farm some more to sell what I farmed for pennies.

Portals at my level are broken, so I would have to go solo lower level ones for hours to get enough azoth for the day? SOOOOO FUN!!!

Yeh it’s my fault AGS released a game with the whole end game loop broken. Enjoy the game for what it is? LOL what a joke! Why wouldn’t I rush through the same 5 copy pasted quest you have to do 10000 times to level. OOO NOO so much fun I rushed through.

The market is dying. You have to have new gold being generated in the world at the same rate it is being removed. The only way to generate money is to do war/invasion and to do quests. Once the quests are done for servers that are full, there is very little new introduction of gold. Wars and invasion are limited by players and by how often they’re done. It doesn’t help for a server with thousands of people. Material prices keep going down because they’re easier to obtain than gold is. The game is constantly removing money with taxes, repairs, crafting, etc. The town and faction quests give very little in terms of gold. When there are more sinks than new introductions, the money available to trade between players goes down, and depending how long it’s neglected it can cause instances where wars aren’t affordable and upgrades aren’t affordable.
You should have played the way this game was meant to be played, you should have chased rabbits from level 1 to 60. Not our fault you played this game the WRONG WAY dude.
You missed out on the greatest game ever created because you rushed through it. I abore you, from my highest position of superiority, I, the greatest casual that knows how to plays game, shall condemn you, you, the sweatiest try harder, for your crime of expecting an end game content from a game that just released 2 hours ago and which was developed by two under-paid interns in their own sweatshop with no backing from a mega corporation.

I do agree that there isn’t enough ways to naturally make money in the game besides pvp, and even then the cost of repairing your gear often supersedes what you receive. But this really isn’t what the original post was about. It was essentially calling the game trash which I disagree with.
The market fluctuates drastically in a 24hr cycle so I think it is a bit to early to tell how things balance out. It is going to take another month or so for that to happen.
It does, yes, but some of the things that are broken and constantly being removed would help fix things like this.
One that really annoys me is bot sellers make money from treasure chests but instead of banning them they removed gold from chests? The same gold spammers have been on my server for like a week and everyone had reported but still not banned.
I don’t hate the game but I feel like AG is really dropping the ball. I feel like they need to hire some more staff or start working some overtime/weekends to get some of this fixed.
Yeah, I really don’t understand the bots not being banned either. As for the fishing thing, that’s just bad, you shouldn’t punish players who fish by removing the gold. They do need more staff for sure. It makes me wonder if they are just removing things like that to immediately stop the issue while they are working on a fix.

I agree to both sides of this. The game IS an early access game, have said it in other threads and on other platforms. Amazon should have released it as such and then people would have been far more forgiving. However they were either too proud or too silly to face that choice.
There are far more bugs at far more of a base level in the game than just about any other mmorpg i have ever played.
There is a severe lack of qol systems and the systems that are there seem unfinished, I think this is a hold over from when it was supposed to have been a pvp survival game and they just never thought to fix it.
They don’t even cater to the female section of their playerbase in the slightest.
I could go on but I am sure its all been said before.
HOWEVER I do have fun playing the game with my friends, exploring, gathering, crafting, dungeons etc. I have a lot of hours in the game already and will probably stay at least a while longer.
Does that mean I am satisfied with the game? Far from it, but there has been a lack of decent new games to play for a while. I think its a case of beggars can’t be choosers…that does not however mean we cannot complain.
