Am I screwed? (Restoring deleted character)

I started playing New World again after some time off. My company moved off Valhalla to Olympus to play together. I created a new character over there to help a new friend level for his first time playing, and kept my level 59 toon in Valhalla. Got to level 20 on the new toon with my friend.

I was gone for two weeks for a work trip and my friend was able to play a lot during that time to catch up with my company. Since I could not transfer over my toon in Valhalla because I can only have one character in a world, I deleted my level 20 toon on Olympus.

Turns out Olympus is full and I can’t transfer my toon from Valhalla to Olympus.

I feel pretty dumb but at the same time, the process feels off. I don’t understand why I can’t have alts in the same world, I guess maybe to avoid smurfing? I could have done the transfer a month ago when we started playing, but I wanted to go through the early leveling with him, not powering through with my higher level toon. In hindsight now I wish I had just done the character transfer.

I submitted a ticket to try and get my toon on Olympus restored, is this even possible?

I highly doubt they will. I don’t think I have seen anyone post about this so I can’t be for sure but you have to confirm your deletion so I am willing to bet you are sol unfortunately. On the bright side, I am sure Olympus will open up again in time for you to transfer to it.

Support can help you restore a deleted char.

They should. It seems there’s a new support service they have called the ā€œNew World Courtesy Serviceā€ which appears to be for dropped items and deleted characters, but there’s very few details about it. Be sure to mention it if they don’t help.

This statement is absolute rubbish sorry to say, i opened a ticket up when i dropped my chest gs625, there is even a post i created on the forums asking why its possible to drop items that are locked,
which i got told, locked items cannot be deconstructed, (accurate statment)
After discussing the issue with CS,even after submitting all the logs etc, stayed logged out of the game for 7 days, to my surprise i recieve an email saying we dont recover dropped items.

I’ve only seen this mentioned as of a week ago, so I believe this is a new service they are offering.

So within an hour or two of me submitting a ticket, they restored my character. So I can at least continue leveling and playing with my company until transfers open back up. Impressed with the turn around time on this, not gonna lie.
