I’ve been curious about this phenomenon since my days in Asheron’s Call: what motivates people to spend hours on forums defending games/developers/multi-billion dollar companies and their multi-billionaire CEO’s?
Related: what’s with all the “don’t just complain, suggest a solution!”? Since when is it the consumer’s job to provide free troubleshooting and design services to the merchant providing the product/service? I’m all for providing specific, actionable feedback, but c’mon, we’re the customer here, the burden of improvement isn’t on us.

This is how the Alpha forums ran too.
If you offrered up criticism about NW constructive or not, it was shot down, your post “flagged” and hidden.
The usual suspects would come in a flame and shame you. They would literally degrade and insult you.
The mods did nothing. Surprised? They’re doing nothing now as well.
I’m starting to think this game is just some type of experiment Amazon is running, and will be abandoned in a few months.
