I am sorry for whatever I did to deserve this. I know I am not going to get my fully dyed t5 harvesting set the way it was stolen from me. I am willing to settle out of court, you can keep the dyes just please for the love of god give me my harvesting set back. I will re up my prime sub, I will never say anything critical about ags again, I will purchase a skin out of cash shop, I will help old ladies across the street, I will adopt a dog and a highway, please please please just give me my set back.
I do not know why I am being punished.
my guess is that there is no way to track who lost harvesting gear in the great harvest purge of 2021.
i have replaced 3 of my five harvesting items just tooling around killing things. not the best bonuses, but i’ll have it back a lot faster than they can figure out who needs to have items replaced out of so many players.
In our latest update, we made a mistake that treated all tiers of the in-game Horticulture harvesting gear as future content, and unintentionally removed them from the game. This is an embarrassing mistake that is squarely our fault, and we apologize to our players who have had their harvesting and trading disrupted as a result.
We are working quickly to correct this and replace the lost items, targeting the next patch. Any player who had ever earned a single piece of this of this gear will be rewarded with a full set of bind on equip, Horticulture gear at the highest tier that was ever earned. The gear score for the replacement gear will be at the highest limit allowed per tier. This includes all Horticulture gear earned; whether you received it as a loot drop, it was traded to you, or you purchased it from the trading post. The items will be distributed directly to players and show up as a armor chest that will deliver the full set of gear.
You could have simply read the devs post about this exact situation and you’d know the resolution they have. But no, you chose to decide to huff and puff like a three year old without taking 5 minutes to read the forums and see the solution.
That’s one way to show the world you’re not suffering from too much common sense.
As glorious and colorful as it may have been, as annoying as it may be to go without it for a few days. The compensation, as stated below, is not bad if you ask me. Especially for those who didn’t even have a full set.
