Please point out where your quote from AGS says that they will never merge RTA servers with Legacy servers…because it doesnt say that.

RTA servers are event servers, not Fresh Start servers.
Some of those are fresh i to fresh bud…
Give it 60 more days and they will be merging the fresh starts into legacy.
It is either that or have 2 dead servers.
There are far enough players on FSS to have several nearly capped servers.

Well you see they aren’t merging FSS into legacy worlds. They’re merging the legacy worlds into FSS. AGS is king of “read the fine print” lol I’m being sarcastic and this is ridiculous

Ya’ll can sit here and argue semantics all day long, not sure what that accomplishes. Clearly AGS has the right to change their mind (those of you on FSS take note) to do whatever they think is best for the game.
Letting these RTA servers die a slow painful death isn’t an answer either.
But here’s the thing that I don’t get: Since most agree these indeed ARE “Fresh Start Servers”, what could have possibly happened on them that make them so “dirty” that they can’t be merged into OTHER FSS?
That’s the part I’m confused over. Honestly I don’t care which way this goes, nor do I think it’ll negatively impact anyone either way.
P.S. I do wonder how well the vision for this game is communicated within AGS. This seems to be another example of information morphing as it moves down the chain.
What makes them dirty is the word streamer.
That’s what this is really about, the dirty cheating streamers need to go play with the other dirty cheaters in legacy worlds.
It’s a fact that RTA server are also FSS, they were sold as such to the streamers BEFORE the event started, advertised as such both before, during and even after the event until just a couple days ago when the “metrics” they made up to change their minds came into play.
The main “metric” here is “streamers and their dirty horde of apparently brain dead followers”. That what I am seeing and reading in lots of posts even if it is couched a little less honestly but more politely, welp in some cases.
Please, look on nwinfo under fss and try to find the event servers.
Than tell me again.

There is no need to welcome me to a legacy server I was here before the game even went live and have a main on Maramma already, I even have a free transfer token from way back I never used.
Again, I’d go back to, AGS is allowed to change their mind to do what they feel is best for the game (or for any reason, really, it’s their game).
So I’m not sure what this back and forth gotcha argument is accomplishing. What I think is more important is: Now that these servers are in NEED of merging, since the original plan of letting anyone join them with a new character clearly didn’t pan out, where do their players WANT to go?
I’m guessing that’s FSS. So then I’d ask, why is it inappropriate to merge them to FSS, since an FSS experience was implied/stated all along?
Folks on these servers should be expecting a far better answer than they vague one they got imo.
Folks on these servers were led to believe they were dealing with FSS rules. Then an announcement comes out of left field that, no, you’re being moved to legacy. Then at literally the last minute, they get put back in limbo. Why?
And if this can happen to the “RTA” variant of FSS…what’s to stop this from eventually happening to regular FSS (as a lot of people predicted all along)?
Fresh start and RTA were always sort of a meme thing anyways, just a bait and swap to get people to come back to the same game they left - If you haven’t figured that out by now then there might be no chance for you.
They were always going to merge into Legacy. Its a better experience for new and returning players.
No kidding sherlock that just goes without saying. However we also can make an uproar, which we did, to let them no we are not having it to try and get the to change their minds again.
Seems to me it is pretty damn obvious that RTA FSS peeps want to be merged with other FSS server NOT legacy ones lots of us already have characters on.
Just getting real tired of tryhards telling me what will be a “better experience” for me… I think I know what I will enjoy more than some random joe on the forums.
