I’m going to assume it isn’t a simple fix and they are being asked to hold off updating us until more is known.
The problem started with the maintenance to remove super turkey and has been steadily degrading since. At first a relog would fix the zone you were in until you teleported again, now it’s happening multiple times within a zone.
Seems to be all related to fast travel either to house or town or out skirts also random but it will happen . And yes since removing turkey is when this all started for me .
Honestly it would just be nice to have them acknowledge the bug. AGS apologizes in almost every other post they make in relation to poor communication and make promises that they will do better going forward.
But going forward just turns into more apologies and more promises it’ll get better.
I don’t want an apology or expect a solution but at least acknowledging the issue would be a healthy start.
Ill be honest if someone shows up to make an update their aware im going to crawl so far up their ass about the lack of communication but the time i exit ill be wearing an amazon name tag
because if they cant even give an update about the issue while it spirals outa control when peopl are left going wtf that looks even worse then the bug its self
I was never big on belittling them prior to and have yet to go after one specifically but in this moment they need to speak up and take the heat if they cant because afraid then they might as well shut this shit down
They dont mind closing people threads and banning people from the forum when they release some info on whats actually coming out in patches that wasnt in the official notes but they want hide now because their scared someone might be angry then they have some real issues
I won’t ever hate on the community managers or mods here.
They aren’t the ones putting out broken untested patches and in many cases upper management is likely directly telling them not to communicate or acknowledge something.
They take a load of hate from a lot of players and when emotions run high and something stupid gets said they are and will always be the ones responsible for not keeping it professional.
I do not envy the position one bit.
With that said. I wish AGS as a whole started kicking itself into shape, because lately it’s just been extremely unprofessional in both developmental skills and communication as a whole
I agree the people that deal with the forums shouldnt get all the hate but we know their deveoplers arent big on coming out less their gona make a thread no one can reply in which kinda defeats the point to begin with
But someone has to take the heat for this and if they cant that reflects on them as a company in a very poor way
The bit that gets me is they listen to our feedback and make these statements like were supposed to remain calm people paid for this shit and if said people are still willing to log in and play this game after all these issues then amazon should be making the effort to make sure it runs decent and be ready to catch the smoke if something goes bad
New Bugs:
Some players are reporting not seeing chests in game - Verifying files or relogging seems to fix it/Investigating

Agreed that’s just common business practice in any other profession! 90% of almost all good business is pacifying your clients because they are the ones feeding you!
A 100% percent response is what I expect not saying I want it to be 100% what I want to hear that’s just unrealistic but the 100% acknowledgement is 100% feasible and expected
