In before the same people who wanted musket and bow nerfed are on the forums crying about mages. Y’all have gotten everything but bruiser builds nerfed because you play them. In 2021 it started with mage nerfs then bow nerfs then healer nerfs then vg nerfs then rapier nerfs and now bow/musket nerfs. I really hope AGS sees the pattern that’s going on here. I bet we will be back in the same place we’re at now but this time it will most likely be about mages. I would ask AGS to stop listening to the group of people with least amount of nerfs and some of the most broken skills but clearly that’s never going to happen.

but there is a big difference in 1 top per week “nerf weapon x” and spam we have related to nerf/remove musket from game.

No, there is not because it is never 1 top per week nerf weapon, yall get on this forum and complain rage like the world is coming to an end. If you go back and look every weapon I listed was nerfed because melee players got mad.
Must be a new player. Bruisers were nerfed quite a few times. What happens is people cry about nerfing a thing and it gets nerfed. Because that thing was nerfed something else “feels” Op so they cry about nerfing that. It gets nerfed so something else feels Op and the cycle repeats. Until we are hitting people with spaghetti because unarmed does too much damage.

What were the nerfs? In comparison to the weapons i have listed above and thir nerfs. What did they do to bruiser that was so bad? I have been playing since launch when we have 12k queues.
Damage. Stuns and roots, Grav can be dodged out of. multiple things. Forum has a search option. go poke around. you will notice alot of those posts are from 2021

Yea no, i remember those i also remember when they cut the tracking on GA the forum went crazy until they changed nerf to impact them much less And yes you can get outta grav now you shouldnt have been stuck in it in the first place and that was the worst thing they did. Like said in comparison to the the weapons i listed about the bruiser nerfs were like be hit by a wet noodle.
You forget most important factor: each update contain changes, some changes make some weapons broken. Try to bring back GA lunge from launch, or old light armor+rapier, you still think it wasnt OP at all, and didnt deserved nerf?
As a Firestaff main I am quite worried they will overdo it considering their history with balancing. It’s never a light hand always a sledgehammer. I don’t want FS to become FOTM, I do not want to see 20 FS in OPR etc it will be hell. FS is almost decent, it mostly needs QOL stuff and tweaks to some abilities and passives, some of them perhaps fully reworked.
Someone suggesting bruisers weren’t nerfed? Lol great axe light attacks used to track better than the great sword heavy currently does - now you have be literally right next to a person for it to track.

There should be no nerf. They are fixing things the wrong way.
Something needs nerf? It is simple, dont nerf it and instead boost everything else.

I agree, but also some time things need a rework which would be better. If something is OP or broken rework in a way where it is still very useful but not oppressive.
first thing that got heravally nerfed after launch was infact bruisers, cry more in forums that after a year of light dex meta we might get a breath of fresh air
What did they nerf so badly smart guy? the only people who cry on this forum are the BAD bruiser and even with all the dex nerfs yall still can’t git gud LOL
