I think, cheaters could be transferred to a cheaters only server.
It would basically be prison, no way out.

I have as much insight as to the veracity of that claim as I have into AGS’s appeal process. My understanding was (as they explained in their post) that a fair number of bans were temporary until they could ensure they had traced down any usage of the exploits, reversed them, and investigated weather it was intentional or accidental.
Again, lacking insight into their process, including those about what the statistics for the number of reversed bans (any claim without statistical evidence is anecdotal, after all), I can’t make a judgement about the efficacy of their process.
Have you been banned and gone through the approval process? If you have any relevant experience to share, I’d love to hear it.

trust me, these people know exactly what they have done. you don’t just stumble into a cheating or duping trap, you have to consciously do things in a correct order.
with the 600 crafting bug of the tempest stuff, no one was banned because it was feasible without any special effort…

Unpopular Opinion. Bugs, Exploits, and meta should be abused by all to pressure devs into a fix, and for them to be extra cautious about adding any other exploits.
Sadly aimbots are going a lil too ham and devs are still not on it.
Perma Ban all cheaters and exploiters…

Yes exactly, because the devs intentionally put exploits in to tarnish the gaming experience for everyone and make their game look bad.
Meanwhile, this is devs checking their patches before sending it.

I have not been banned actually, but when we first started, there was a company member in our discord that explained everything that was going on, he was unsure of why he was banned, and it turned into everyone freaking out because they didn’t want to be banned by association. At least people having some type of understanding what bans are being placed on (back when there was a varity of exploits and people supposedly being banned from trading unknowningly) It makes players sit on the edge of their seat not wanting to do or interact with anyone or anything because AGS wasn’t clear on the issues until they were already throwing the ban hammer down on people.
They need to flip their switches, and immediately let players know - if you think you did this, report it, don’t do that blah blah.
Just a little transparency would be helpful.
I also see people bitch about it on the facebook groups all the time - not understanding what they did wrong.

I feel like people don’t prefer to set themselves up for public humiliation, and that’s all most people do - “Don’t cheat you won’t have that problem” doesn’t help the OP figure out what happened and why now their 3k hours of time invested into their hobby is not taken from them without rhyme or reason. I deliberately refused to use my new weaponsmithing max when i heard about the exploit because i didn’t want to accidentally make something with lower level materials and be banned because I was unaware. If i was banned for cheating, I would make fun of myself, not make posts with screenshots inquiring over and over just to know what was done.
