So, after creating an atmosphere of mystery and anticipation on twitter, we receive 1.5 hour long video, with things that 95% of us already know - it feels like it was recorded weeks ago, it almost feels like a joke.
I donât think you guys realize how much hype potential you wasted here - there are tens of thousands people waiting for fresh start servers, after you mentioned it and asked questions about it, we still have 0 information or release date for them.
Apart from that - 0 cosmetics, 0 special events, 0 bonus XP or just any gift for players. Iâve played multiple games in my entire life, and I have never seen 1st year anniversary like that.
Itâs almost like you donât read twitter/reddit/this forum and you donât see the hype people had about this day.
It was recorded weeks ago. Thatâs how they have always done it. But I agree wasteful dev video to the majority of people who play the game. No news on when the update might drop either. Rip.
It does appear AGS suffer from the âwere to big to fail mentalityâ sometimes that comes with large corporations. They are not fighting to keep their head above water fiscally, so their attitude can be lax with no or minimal repercussions.
I still think there is a serious issue with leadership within AGS, just not getting it, how bad they have made themselves look. Ok top guy had to work but those beneath seem to just be plodding long as they did before.
It is very hard to like NW as times, most of the perceived issues can be tracked to extreme short sightedness.
