Anti AFK macro ideas

We all know that loads of players are using AFK macro’s to stay in the game when they are sleeping/working/going to school. I have heard that Amazon games is planning to do something about it but atm the Queue’s and AFK macro’s are destroying the game a bit for me and probebly loads of other players… My experience is from the Annwyn Server and I know its one of the most popped server but having to wake up 4 AM to get in within the next 2 hours is a no thank you from me…

So my idea is that a pop up comes up that can forcefully log you out if you fail to react to it… for example Press the F1 button to stay logged in after being logged in for a X amount of time… or give it at a random time after a X amount of time. I know people will start learning the time frames but a AFK macro won’t be able to press those buttons at the right time and will be forced out of the world…

As for the time to react to said pop up should be around 3 minutes so people have time to react to it and it shouldnt be something small in a corner but it should be as a Party invite or maybe in the top right of your screen where you see your achievements pop up. I know people could get kicked because they went to the toilet right before that popped up and then missed it but thats just something that can happen

An other idea is Daily server resets are random times so the AFK people cannot time them and go on their AFK script way… Yes this idea sucks for those who play legit and just got on after a couple hour queue and then they have to queue agian… but it will get rid of all those Macro afk players…

You could also implement something in the code that will remove people if they havent moved from the same 5 meter area or maybe a bit larger in an hour that means they are either doing crafting in a really weird way or they are AFK scripting to not get kicked and throwin into the queue

These are the Idea’s I could come up with for now so I hope to see some implemented REALLY soon… and before you guys say ohh just go to an other server to play the game… I have friends on that server and a guild it aint easy to just leave and play on my own and unable to play with them

I very like the idea of pop up, but people can interact with the pop up with software like Team Viewer that way, the idea of kicking the people doesnt move for 1h i like it, cause is very difficult a crafter dont move 1m for 1 hour…

I don’t agree with this.
Until Amazon fixes the queue problem, is not ok to get kicked if I have to take a long-bio after waiting for 8 hours to get in the game.

You do not know the real problem then… The queue’s are a product of the problem and the AFK macro users are not helping the issue of the Server caps… and it sucks if you get removed because you went to the toilet but its a sollution to the massive problem the game is facing over 50% of the playerbase has more time in the Queue then the actual game…

If they solve the queue thing, by other means so that the existing population will stay only around 5-10 minutes in queue, then I would agree and it will make the queue 0, but with even 4h in queue I don’t support this one.

its been 5 days since launch, you guys are expecting to much, if you cant beat them join them. be patient its gonna take some time before queues and amazon devs get everything good and ready for everyone.

One of my mobs accidently hit an afk macro player and they died - that was a shame.

If they weren’t afk they be in que with you, still making thing worse. You’re angry at the wrong folks here. Be mad at Amazon.
