I personally can’t stand having to make the choice between getting good drops or being stronger and a better teammate in group content.
I’m fine with luck on bags, trophies, consumables, etc. but anything that requires you to sacrifice power to be “lucky”, feels really bad. Other games that have done this in the past, such as Diablo with magic find, completely reversed course on it. Why has AGS stuck by it? I rarely see people complain about it, but it’s a major pain point to me in going through endgame content.
I would much rather they remove the perk completely from armor and weapons and buff the world drop rates accordingly. Is there anyone who wouldn’t prefer that?
Let me just trash my luck gear I spent well over 100k on, no thanks. Also I feel like luck was stealth buffed last patch because I got a rare trophy mat at least once everyday since then.
that’s just RNG, how many other times have you ran and got nothing. Don’t let the bias distract you from the fact that running full luck contributes almost nothing and it’s not much different to a non-luck build.
@Doc-6 I understand your statistic preference on gear and your desire to be able to contribute your very best during group play. Thank you for offering up some ideas to make Luck feel better for you. I will take your feedback and submit them to the team.
