just wondered if there are any plans to improve the ‘lobby’ thing. maybe
and yes, many of these suggestions i have seen in other games.
instead of a lobby it would be a tool with a list of all the dungeons/expeditions to choose from, so you don’t have to find it on the map just to try to make a group
make dungeons/expeditions cross-server. this might be an incredibly difficult task, but with the small population of each server it would be great i think.
the tool could not only have a tab for dungeons/expeditions, but maybe also for elites etc. basically the tool could grow to encompass all kinds of activities, and some might be possible for cross-server
all i can say at this point, and i say this honestly, is i think the current tool is very poor. it is odd to me that this game is just almost a year old now, and yet with all the games out with great looking for group systems etc, they decided to go with this awful mechanism. well, so flame me if ya disagree or toss some more ideas out there.
let’s get a better tool. and yes i do consider this important as it makes it a lot easier to group up with others
while v1.0 is an welcome addition to New World, it would be even better if it were a consolidated screen that rolled up all group lobbies into a single menu with filtering and sorting enabled. We are planning to roll out a v1.1 in a future release to make quick improvements there, and eventually release a v2.0 which will allow players to post and find groups for much more than Expeditions — more details to come!
