As we’re approaching the patch 1.2 and the holidays afterwards, are there any updates about the second round of transfers mentioned in the dev blog a few weeks ago? I know I have a few friends that made the wrong decision on where to head with their first transfer token, and would love to have another chance at it.
I’m assuming the second round is still planned for before end of year because nothing has been said otherwise, but are there any updates on the timeline those are released?
“The first round of server transfers provided a lot of lessons for us to learn from, and we apologize that it has been at the expense of some of you joining your friends on a server of your choice. After transfers have been unblocked and our investigations into these cases are complete, we are looking to provide a second round of server transfers. Estimated timing is before the year’s end. We will keep you updated if that changes.”
I haven’t seen anything updated from that last response, but one made from Kay, I think they want to get all merges done and let things settle before issuing the second round of transfers.
Since there is a bit of a delay with the merges I’m expecting early to mid Jan. But who knows.
I hope there is never gonna be another round of tokens. They just mess up the server balance even more. I mean what for? So that losers can go look for some server where someone will pull them up?
Personally, I have some friends that transfered off our server in hopes to find a more balanced one, but the server they transfered to ended up being worse than the first. So the ability to transfer back would be nice.
My personal opinion is they aren’t going to a thing with transfers until they’re done with server mergers because those should, in theory, solve a lot of the problems people have with the lack of transfers and the lack of info from AGS about transfers.
I actually have a friend who got hacked and the hacker instantly changed server and sold everything. My Friend has his account finally back but is now stuck on a random spanish Server. No help from Amazon, only Steam tried their best. Please make it at least possible to buy tokens.
Bump, I just replied to a similar post, but at that time i did not know that the 2nd round of transfers was to be FREE. Have there been any notable updates on this issue?
