Spent the morning trying to log in with the “down for maintenance” notice and others reporting Camelot server crashes. After waiting a while, I tried again and got a temporary ban notice instead. Customer service responded to my appeal with basically we cant tell you why you were banned but deal with it. Prior to ban when still facing maintenance notice, I restarted computer, reinstalled game and verified files on steam.
